So I just finished watching Akame ga kill anime.

And it kinda sucked also I re-realized how good of an anime Naruto is(compared to many other mainstream stuff).

It is it's own story, the manga hasn't even been following it like how everyone thought it would. Similar scenarios are kind of happening but it's completely different.

Yeah the anime has finished the story while the manga is still going (it's behind). Anime also skipped 2 arcs (Ran had an arc and Su had another arc, where he died differently).
The anime has followed the manga, but it skips things. I recommend reading manga from the beginning, you can skim it through since you seen the anime.

I'll put it in my reading list...
And I read the last chap and it was mostly different from what was in the anime so anime must have been following a completely different yet relevant story...

I've just finished it, and I don't know, it was great and everything, but something was missing...Maybe it's because after animes like AoT or Code Geass, it's hard to find something that can surprise and affect you.
And I hated the ending -__- Tatsumi shouldn't have died, though I get the point that Akame is the name of the show so she was the last survivor of the team, kind of...but at least she should have had Tatusmi left as her companion or something...Or, I actually wouldn't have minded Tatsumi and Esdeath both surviving as a couple xD
