However the character design is copied as Zoro was created well before Killer Bee, he first appeared in episode two of one piece in 99 (and the manga was from 97) and he first demonstrated his 'santōryu' fighting style in episode 4. Killer Bee didn't appear until well into shippuden; episode 130 something if I remember correctly.
