so how do you get spam infractions?

i just recieved a spam infraction , for saying NO. and explaining why i replied that way , it was in a thread titles
"Somebody make me a Bio?" or something allong those lines , this is the 1st time iv recieved a spam infraction for a supposed one word post , i just wanna know the barriers of spam and infractions ,
Note:
i already know 1 word posts are spam
i already know what spam is
i already know repeating a post multiple times is also considered spam

Idk - I got one a while back with "0" points and it expires and goes away.

i know im fine , just a precaution lol , i rlly wanna know the boundaries of what this website considers spam , and i know 0 and 1 point expire , this one is a one point infraction ....

You got the infraction because you really didn't need to make the post that you made in that thread. You clearly said you don't do the rp/battle stuff on here, so there was no point in you replying to the thread. Even Scorps said that.

I believe you got it from Scorps. No? There should be a part in the PM explaining what you got it for, some mods/admin just insert "For Spam", or "For breaking The rules". If that's your case, you can reply with the PM requesting a proper explanation. COmmon reasons of being infracted in the Question and Suggestion section is for posting an answer that has been already posted on that thread multiply times. Another is for posting something that doesn't relate or contribute to the question/suggestion of the thread (a pointless post).

If you clicked the link it pretty much shows you what this site considers as spam, and it explains it in pretty good details. Now it doesn't tell you how much infractions are worth and stuff, if you want to know about that stuff I would ask a Mod.

Oh and don't multi-post >.< you could get a warning or another infraction for doing that.

on the people you want to respond to. When you click the multi-quote button it will light up. After that just click on reply and it will have both of the post quoted for you.

Now back onto the topic. The best thing you should do is just to vm Scorps and talk to him about this. He's a pretty good guy so I'm sure he will explain everything to you that you want to know, and why he gave you the infraction.

You made a pointless unhelpful reply in a thread about a topic you didn't know about how to answer in the first place.
