It seems like both Hashi and Madara are peace loving while Tobirama and izuna are blindfoldedly following their parents will and have grudge against each others clan. so its quiet possible that after hashi was made 1st hokage izuna got too much jelous and tried to assassinate hashi but during that moment izuna got killed by hashi . so after knowing this thing , which was exxazurated by others , madara got mad took his brothers eyes and fought hashi but he lost. Then constantly haunted by this pain , he later trapped tobirama along with other kumots ninjas and killed him
