So, Hashirama DIDN'T die from old age?

I just realized this, and I had to make a thread about it. When someone is EdoTensei'd, they're simply restored from the state they were once in when they died, right? This includes age, attire and everything.

So with that being said, we can clearly see Hashirama was revived at his young age, around the time he fought Madara. So, how did he die? That must mean he was beaten by somebody in a fight, right? I'm not sure if poisons would effect him, so I just wanted to ask.

I thought this was confirmed when he was summoned by Orochimaru the first time. He never looked old to me, at least not old enough to die from age, so I guess it was pretty obvious he was killed. As some already said, he died in a war.

You are wrong. Madaras Edo Tensei is exeption Kabuto told him himself. Edo Tensei revives people as how they were when they died.
