In the LAST we learnt there was a Tenseigan weapon that acted like a core for the Moon

it was the thing that kept the Moon Terra-formed... kept it having a artificial atmosphere and other abilities

It was made by placing Hamura's eyes in the core then stockpiling other byakugans from the main and side branch (or maybe just the side branch) for decades upon decades.


In the Last Hinata with the assistance of Naruto destroyed the vessel.

This caused the vessel to implode, releasing all the byakugans inside it even Hamura's.


So... for 13 Years, Hamura's eyes have just been free for the taking.

A pair of dojutsu eyes from a sage of sixth path just there for the taking.


Either Toneri found it and just rebuilt the vessel again, left it as it is, stored it somewhere else or went out of his way to equip it.

lol I was even paying attention to the recap that I wrote seeing as that wasn't even the point of the thread

but still... you can't even harm the vessal without Hamura chakra and Hinata first used the twin lion fist on it... a move that isn't destructive but is meant to drain.


Now with the Rasengan you have something that drains and breaks the weapons shielding then a move that breaks the weapon itself

The prerequisite to destroying the energy vessel was Hamura's chakra as in that case, only fire could destroy fire, and Hinata was conveniently present to help the situation.

But in a scenario where Naruto is the Hyuuga, it's obvious to whom it would be given to wield.

first they never showcased his eyes but then when they did he had it closed again

granted he could just be blind again with no eyes but him knowing the threat that awaits he might just have Hamura's eyes as a backup

nah Naruto and Hinata offered him to come with them to Earth but he refused saying he will forever stay on the moon
