The bible is a book with metaphorical, symbolical figurative connatations to everything. Few things are literal, however there are actual places and historical events that have been found n proven. If u changed ur perception on external sources, your faith was never resolute. When you have faith, there is nothing that can alter you. Also, in my belief, the things God does or makes happen can be explained by science, but becUse we can explain something, it leads to arrogance. Human nature. Religious organizations are fallible and have proven so, theroman catholic church which I believe is satans church. Responsible for over 100 million deaths during its 1200 years of supremecy. But enough of that.. And u dont have to be part of something to believe. I was raised catholic, and became and I turned away from the church less than a year ago

Sigh. Let us recap. The guy I made that post in response to said that Religion only serves to help mankind and make people better. I countered his statement by saying that people have done terrible things in the name of their God and their Religions for years.
You either misunderstood, or misread the post. I'm not sure. But yes, I am saying that people do terrible things in the name of God and in the name of religion, so religion has been both beneficial, and detrimental to mankind.

ok i see now and ur are right about religion. now my belief is different i dont see it as religion but as a relationship with God. a mistake that people make is that they call christianity a religion when its really the rilationship a person has with God. religion is just a word man created and thats why it causes hatred and wars and stuff. because man created that word and not God

Once again, i saw the video, it sparked some interest. after a few months of pondering, thinking, and researching, i started to have my own beliefs. I delved into physical cosmology, and found my beliefs growing stronger. After awhile, i found logic was the answer to everything. This video sparked interest, and that spark turned into a fire. A few months later ( maybe 3, 4 , or 5 i can't remember) i wanted to see what other people thought of that video. WHy share it now? i dont know, i was bored lol
