Sasuke literally coated his PS on Kurama's chakra. He's done it before, just like Madara in the Movie. In this scenario, his Susano'o changed shape when he did it.

1. Kishi said they're equal, so obviously he's supposed to have RSM since BSM Naruto cannot be equal to Rinnegan Sasuke. [Most Sasuke fans took back what they said due to this]

2. It is manifestly shown now and all cleared up. Previously, there were confusions about the cloak but now that issue has been solved that RSM isn't about the cloak. [Some Sasuke fans who were still confused about the different forms of RSM took back what they said after this]

3. Some people who still said until recently that "Naruto lost RSM" were referring to the TSB RSM, not RSM itself. They believed that Naruto lost that RSM (his full RSM) which they assumed was due to Naruto not having bijuus chakra anymore, but they weren't exactly in denial about Naruto having RSM completely.

4. Naruto fans themselves were also initially confused about whether Naruto retained RSM or not (e.g.

I used to think Naruto and Sasuke are equals(and still are for the most part) but Boruto movie change my mind. Every advantage Naruto had was taken away in the Boruto movie. Speed, strength, avatar was all match by Sasuke and Sasuke still has his advantages..
