Kishi wants to write a story about 2 friends breaking and reforming their bond. So the final fight of the war will be Sasuke + Naruto vs Tobi while every single shinobi + kage involved in the war are there to witness them.
-Itachi tells Sasuke the "real" truth about how he never killed the clan and that he was forced to live a lie the whole time in order to keep Sasuke safe.
-Sasuke learns that the assassination was all a setup by Danzo and Tobi since Tobi once said "Its been a long time, Danzo. We haven't met since the Uchiha incident." (we will probably learn their connection and history?)
-Kabuto is indirectly forced to release Edo Madara in order to free himself from Izanami.
-Itachi eventually gets wiped out and it's now Sasuke vs Kabuto
-Sasuke is no match. However the scroll is delivered and he awakens the Rinnegan and defeats Kabuto.
-Sasuke realizes that he's been deceived his whole life and grows a strong hatred for Tobi. He now has a change of heart and realizes where he really belongs.
-All the shinobi and kage in the war rush to where Naruto is located at and offer help.
-Naruto warned them that if too many people get involved, it will result in more casualties so they stayed back and give space for Naruto.
-We see an intense fight between Naruto and Tobi
-Tobi manages to get a hold of Naruto and as Naruto is about to get slashed, an Almighty Push from Sasuke saved him as Tobi is blown back and maybe his mask falls off or something?
-Sakura bursts into tears and Naruto is unbelievably shocked (probably cries too).
-They team up and defeat Tobi. Everyone acknowledge them as heroes and Sasuke was forgiven.
-Naruto is canddiate for 6th hokage position.
-Naruhina and Saskura...
Yeah I borrowed most of these ideas from the different threads I read on this forum. This is just me wrapping up and making a few predictions. There may be some plot holes but hopefully if this is what Kishi has in mind, he will perfect it somehow. I know the Edo Madaraa vs Kage was disappointing. Hope it doesn't turn out this way. Anyway, I just wanted to read your guy's discussion on this ending (maybe not exactly down this path but similar). Okay, I will stop babbling. cya!

Okay so Kishi may disappoint a lot of people if he doesn't show Naruto vs Sasuke one last all out fight. So maybe an alternative ending would be:
-Sasuke realizes that he's been deceived his whole life and grows a strong hatred for Tobi. He still wants to destroy the leaf since Danzo was part of it.
-All the shinobi and kage rush to Naruto and offer help but Naruto tells them to not get involved because they will just get in the way and cause more casualties.
- we see a really intense battle between Naruto and Tobi.
-Tobi still has some tricks left and uses it to get the upper hand.
-As Naruto is getting beaten, Sasuke arrives and Almighty Push Tobi off.
-Everyone is surprised and Sasuke tells them the truth about Tobi and the Uchiha clan. He also warns them that he is going after the leaf once Tobi is dead since the leaf is part of it.
-all of the shinobi become upset upon hearing this since the leaf is now an ally to all of the other villages. They threaten sasuke and some of them attempt to strike but Naruto blocks them and tells them that he alone will confront sauske after tobi is dead.
-Sasuke tells Naruto to back off since he believes that the only way to bring justice to his clan is to defeat Tobi alone.
-We see a 3 way conflict between Naruto, Sasuke, and Tobi.
-Naruto uses talk-no-jutsu and tries to bring in some sense to Sasuke's stubborn head telling him that it's okay to get help (which he recalls back to Garaa)
- However Sasuke ignores Naruto and then becomes hell cocky because of his newly found power.
- Pretty much Tobi becomes kind of like the monkey in the middle and Naruto + sasuke ended up defeating Tobi...however it was Naruto that finishes off Tobi which really upsets Sasuke.
- This is when the the fight between Sasuke and Naruto will take place and maybe some how and some way they may end up being at the Valley of the End and we witness them fight one last time. Their health are not at their fullest, but they should be equal due to intense fighting and power ups they've been having. After this point, I don't know what might could happen.
All of this is just a thought. It may be totally off anyway.
