Lets see. For her new tech, she stored chakra for three years. Yeah, I accept, very cool.
The question is, if she was storing the chakra for three years, could she have released it before as well, albeit sacrificing all the chakra she stored? Well, speaking strictly logically, yes. And, how many times has Naruto or many others died in front of her? Oh, and Pain also destroyed Konoha in front of her once. But, thats not Sakura, she's so damn intelligent that she won't be budged by such simple crisises. Foresaw that the Juubi will be released and they'll have to attack it with all they've got and decided to hide her trump card so she can do it with her precious Sasuke-kun/chan (Another miraculous example of her perceptive abilities, knew that Sasuke will come back and join them to fight Juubi and Madara instead of trying to kill them!)
Oh, wait wait, I'm (maybe) doing a huge injustice here, Sakura needs THREE whole damn years to use her jutsu, so, she couldn't use it before. My dear god, I can't believe how judgmental and stereo-typed and prejudiced I've been till now! Ofcourse the jutsu will only have stored the chakra required the very moment they have to attack Juubi. Well well, thats a surprising co-incident and nothing more, she certainly didn't use it when Kabuto and his edo's were fodderising and killing shinobi without a second thought, not because she wanted to use it in front of her Sasuke-kun/chan and impress him, but because she couldn't and it was all a huge coincident that they had to attack Juubi at full power and that they had Sasuke team up with them.
Also, its not like she wouldn't have used it if Sasuke by off-chance didn't come and join them. Its 100% sure that she would have used it to fight Juubi even if Sasuke didn't join them. She's selfless like that! and she cares not about showing off in front of Sasuke, but about not being a burden. Exactly the reason her attack charged up right the the moment that they had to attack Juubi and not a fortnight or so ago when shinobi were being killed mercilessly in front of her.
The most un-*****y and selfless and strong and supposed-to-put-in-most-effort-to-protect-others-when-they-can and not-caring-about-showing off in-front-of-sasuke girl in NV: Sakura, the future hokage!
