Actually a lot of anime are based on real-life prophecies, social struggle, and such. The thread poster is more than correct.
But I wouldn't describe it as a bad phenomenon. I think it's more a sign of a bright future

Actually I have read only the last parts of Naruto manga! Till recently I’ve only followed its anime!
But this is my characteristic! I usually like to look beyond the looks of things too not just be content at their appearances!
