In all honesty, after the Tobi reveal everything and everyone(nearly everyone) started hating Naruto...those characters died off too quickly how amazing it would have been if all of them came together as one and destroyed a country. Gosh, we missed on something so terrific.

I don't remember the manga being hated at that point of time, only after pain arc.

No, i dislike Sasuke for the fact that even though he knew Orochimaru just wanted him for his body, he still wanted to go, like what idiot would want to train under a master who wants to control your body after he's trained you enough? If Oro wasn't sick that probably would have been the case.

Also for the fact that he left his friends who cared for him as if he was their family just so he could kill Itachi who was actually a good guy and was protecting the leaf, and then he decides to go destroy the leaf village which his brother was trying to protect..Seriously? There is much much much more, but i'd prefer to stay on topic.

Why have friends when you can get revenge?
You have to remember at the time he didn't know Itachi was good.

1. Because those friends could help you with your revenge, and also that revenge was pointless either way since it wasn't revenge, it was called murdering a good man in cold blood.
2.Okay, so maybe i can excuse Sasuke for killing Itachi, but after he learned the truth, he wanted to destroy the one thing Itachi was protecting. Like good job Sasuke, didn't know avenging the brother that you killed yourself was supposed to be by destroying a village.
