So... Did Sasuke forget about the whole "restoring the Uchiha Clan" thing or what?

Seriously, one of Sasuke's main things throughout Naruto and Shippuuden was him avenging and restoring his clan. And all these years later, he's only managed to produce ONE Uchiha offspring. Why was this never resolved? One would imagine that in these 10+ years since the war ended, he and Sakura would've had at least 5-10 by now if he was serious about it. At this rate, it looks like there'll only ever be a few Uchiha alive at a time, and that's assuming Sarada and someone else will make another Uchiha at some point. And what about the clan's genetic concentration? If Sarada and someone else have a child, it'll only be 1/4th Uchiha, then after that 1/8th, then 1/16th, etc...

Would the clan die anyways because of that?

Maybe it was more about giving them honor. The Uchiha name will cease to exist it seems if Sarada ends up with Boruto.

Sasuke should've had a lot more kids that's bad writing for you I guess. Anyway Sarada is like Indra a direct child of Rokudo so the dilution factor doesn't really apply to her. The uchiha would've gained numbers many generation down the line. The same would be true for Sarada's descendants if it comes down to it.

Who knows Sasuke may have Karin or others using Orochimaru's research and the DNA from all of Obito's sharingan (48 pairs +) to clone the dead Uchiha in secret. A possible plot point to explore don't you think? It's such a shame Kodachi is the shittest writer in history otherwise we could have an awesome manga.

Sasuke wants to restore his clan but not by mass repopulation

It’s a challenge for him to be a model father to Sarada alone

& personally I think after learning the real history of uchiha, it’d be better writing for him or Sarada to want to put the clan name to rest after Sarada becomes the Uchiha kage

It wouldn't be impossible to have the child take the Uchiha name instead.

Well, we don't know exactly how old Sasuke and Sakura currently are, but it's not that hard to make a guess. Sarada's 12 years old. Sasuke returned to the village at the age of 19 (Sasuke Shinden) and not long after that Sakura became pregnant with Sarada, so they could be 33-34 years old. They are young enough to have another child, even two more, but I doubt it. If something like that happens someday, it will either be after a timeskip or won't be canon at all.

PS. No one really believes that Naruto, Sasuke or any other main character of the original manga is going to die to Kara, right?

The restoration of the Uchiha clan was Sasuke's motive, however if you remember Itachi and his stance on the clan. The clan shouldn't be put ahead of the Village. Sasuke undoubtedly has given up such superficial ideas and understands it's not blood that creates the bonds he spent his entire youth grieving over but compassion and never giving up. Sasuke also knows that restoring his clan can mean the beginning of another spiral into hatred.

I think it was more metaphorical in the sense to restore the clans reputation after everything has happened. Who know's maybe they will have more kids a brother or something.

To be fair, Kishimoto’s the dumbass that decided to give Sasuke one child, and a daughter at that. While giving the most useless character, Hinata, 2 kids of different sexes.

It's not necessary for her to bear Boruto's surname but still, their child will still be an Uchiha by blood. Probably bear Uchiha-uzumaki or something

Plus their kid would be op thats uzumaki ( who are related to senju) + uchiha + hyuuga not to mention how the jougan and sharingan might mix into an even more powerful eye the future of the uchiha uzmaki hybirds will be fine.

I agree with you mate bit Kishi never planned on the next gen, he was forced to make the next gen.
