Seems like everyone on NB is on this new "Destiny" bandwagon.Saying things such as Naruto & Sasuke were destined to be powerful so everything they've done doesn't matter.

But if Destiny does exist in the series, why for just those two? Surely Lee was destined to become a great Taijutsu user, since he can't use any nin or genjutsu.
And Gai also was destined to be strong, since his father mastered the 8 gates and passed it down to him.

It's the same users who go on about "borrowed power" too. I shouldn't even be surprised anymore, 90% of users on the base are hypocrites and just love to be contrariness to anything.

Destiny doesn't come if you don't work hard for it.

If you completely deny destiny, you'll spend your whole life chasing impossible things. I could train my entire life and never be faster than Usain Bolt. A man born with uncontrollable nervous tremors probably shouldn't try to become a cardiac surgeon.

But if all you do is curse fate and never work hard, you'll be a loser who achieves nothing. The only people who refuse to acknowledge the value of hard work are those who have been too scared or too lazy to ever work hard in their lives.

It's not destiny, Madara was the one who basically forced himself out of the Indra, reincarnation and obtained the rinnegan.

We can change destiny a little bit only! for example one who freezing can't walk can't dream of becoming a solider but he can dream of something that he/she will be acknowledged for that's all I have to say. Dattebayo!

Exactly. Neji owned the entire manga at 13 years old. Guy said they're all destined to follow a set path and they can't change their destiny. Neji was dead on.

Poor ad-hom response from someone named Gagster

If you don't understand the difference between blindly saying "everything is destiny" and acknowledging that in Kishi's world the "children of prophecy" are always the ones who make the biggest impact, maybe you should stick to a simpler medium, like crayons and a coloring book.

"the "children of prophecy" are always the ones who make the biggest impact," You say, After they've worked for and already made that impact. You sound dense.
