i think it was because he wanted to hide his ms .just like he did obito

Well Sasuke managed to "break" through tsukuyomi, but then again itachi was going easy on him. Still I thinks its possible that the 3 tomoe can be pushed to higher limits.

im starting to think something like this ^^^. cuz obito warped into madaras place with kamui right after he awakend a 2 tamoe sharingan. and if obitos st tech isnt ms then i dont understand how sharingan works lol

No, and remember that he only needs to show his mangekyo for a fraction of a second to trap someone in a genjutsu. for the rest of the genjutsu, he can control what kakashi see's. Therefore he could have just made kakashi see him with a 3 Tomoe sharingan
