I doubt sasuke backed off. Sasuke was on a cool down, so naruto jumped in

It's far more effective to jump on a guy at the same time than taking turn 1 vs 1

They have to beat momokiki with speed obviously especially when they can't use any ninjutsu.

The most possible reason they taking turn because they covering each other's opening

When we charged up to go full force, it will be most powerful and fastest at the same time. Going full forces in real life and in any manga has one big disadvantage which is the inevitable cooldown

In a short race, the racers would give everything they have right away to go fastest, but they get tired quick and have to slow down to catch their breath

It kinda does, Naruto's KM full speed with just Yang Kurama is so fast that he's just a flash that is comparable to Minato's FTG; he wasn't moving that fast in BSM in the move with full Kurana which means he wasn't going as fast as he can go. Shunshin speed and distance is determined by how much chakra you use, current Naruto's base reserve is many times higher than war arc Naruto so he can use a faster Shunshin that could probably move faster than A in lightning armor lvl 2 depending on Naruto's skill with Shunshin. Current Naruto in BSM has more chakra and power than War arc RSM due to having full Kurama instead of just Yin Kurama.

If his best speed feats are #1 with a powerup and you remove said powerup.. You should already have your answer.
