So can Madara summon the Moon

In my previous thread I mentioned the fact that Madara could summon the moon, many said they don't know where I got that idea from, well it was from here:

Confusing because I don't know if it's a misunderstanding due to translation, or he really can do it, and I don't get the genjutsu bit (summon the moon with genjutsu?)

What are your thoughts?

this comes from different legends of the so6p.. when naruto was fighting pain and he did planetary devastation he kept referring to the so6p and how he summoned the moon and how his pales in comparison. madara alos refereed to it when he was fighting the kage i believe.

but seeing how madara is the closest thing to the so6p i would think he cant summon the actual moon but he can make one thats not as big..
