I have so many questions about different type of animes, I'll try to keep these in the Code Geass though.

Ok so first of all at the end of the Series [Code Geass Season 2]

We saw CC say "Isn't that right Lelouch"

Does that mean that he's still alive and he was the guy driving it?

Or was she just senile and talking to the sky.

It's a cliffhanger. It allows us to believe he is either dead or alive based on what we want to believe. There's no evidence either way, so neither view is wrong.

I think he is dead, and she is just doing one those things for the sake of future nalstalgia.

He's still alive. Either that or it;s like how character's reference their dead comrades and what they believed in.

I asked my super addicted anime friend this at school like 3 months ago and he told me that even the director/producer said he's dead?

Wouldn't he have to kill C.C. for eternal life? Or is there another explanation for this theory? Honestly I don't know why people would want him to be alive anyways. It would just shame his sacrifice.

What was the context of the whole phrase by the way? What did she say before that? I forget >_>

I have to re watch the anime again, but didn't Lecouch become a King like his father when he awaken both his Geass so he couldn't die? Cause I remember his father getting shot and surviving.

Idk why but I remember in one of the episodes she already gave him immortality somehow?

The way I see it is this: You know how if you have a dead relative or something of the sort, you might talk in a way as to refer to them? It's kinda like that, at least that's the way it seemed to me with the way C.C. was talking.

Also, I'll say that I feel Lelouch has to be dead at the end of the series. As much as I like Lelouch (second favorite character of all time), it does no good if he remains alive. There's literally no reason for him to be alive at the end, the significance of the ending was that he took the fall. To be honest, the reason I hold Lelouch in such high esteem is because he died in the end. By bringing about his own death, he could bring about world peace, and that's much more significant than some plot no jutsu to keep him alive for no reason than to make a group of fans happy. Not to mention there was no way he could have survived, some people bring up the immortality thing but absolutely nothing proves that this ever took place, only mere speculation about that.

From my recollection the creators did say that Lelouch was confirmed to be dead, although I haven't researched into it much so I can't be entirely sure.

The point is that you don't know if he's alive or not. Its like the ending to Inception, where the spinning top keeps spinning and then cuts to black. Its just a little tease as if to say that everything isn't over yet, even though it is.
