It may have taken 3 years, but she surpassed Shizune who could never do it, so that's a start for her. Also, 3 years ago she was 13. Not bad and amazing chakra control if she stored it for 3 years straight, including her battle with Sasori.

A start? I promise you that is as close to character development closure she will ever get. She surpassed Shizune? Big deal. We needed a chapter the second after Sasuke arrives to explain this? and WOAH CHAKRA CONTROL HOLD UP

I think she feels happiness that she never gave up on him and he has finally come home. I think Naruto is happy too and be the two of them being rivals again, I bet Naruto is smiling inside. But saying she was unfair to Naruto it would only be fair to say Naruto is just as bad after tossing Hinata away like that.

We can't judge it fully yet, but right now is not the time for solo attacks.

No not that kind of start, the start in her surpassing Tsunade, as all of Team 7 has/will do.

I haven't seen one thing yet showing her old obsession with Sasuke, but there are still more chapters to come. Right now she's a young woman determined to stop the Juubi with her teammates by her side.

Sasuke showing he was impressed with her is a small start of him finally acknowledging her as a teammate too.

Speaking of messed up, Hinata's words now have Kiba/Hinata discussions happening. lol

I always wondered if Naruto knew what he was getting into with becoming Hokage and could he take all the written work that comes with it, as well as meeting, etc...

After reading this thread I had to sign up and say my piece.

Sakura has been an absolutely useless character since the very beginning of Naruto. The only thing of note that can be attributed to her is that she has perfect chakra control.

But even that has been overshadowed by Naruto. As the Kyuubi had mentioned in the earlier chapters, Naruto has become extremely adept at chakra manipulation, because of how quickly he was able to sync up the Kyuubi's chakra with every single ninja on the field.

The fact that there are people out there who are actually -fans- of Sakura is borderline insane because she, as a character, has no reason to even exist. I'd go so far as to say she's less useful than Krillin from DBZ. I've never felt this upset after reading a manga than I did this morning. Sakura is in no way on Sasuke or Naruto's level, and the reasoning behind her sudden surge of power screams of pandering to the concept of "Team 7 is back!".

And don't get me started on everyone now proclaiming they're going to be Hokage. All these recent chapters have me saying "What the hell, Kishi?"

She is still calling him "Sasuke-kun this and that" she is not cold but it's weird when she talks with Naruto, it's different, It's not like she can't remember who saved her life in the past, yet she either refusing her feelings towards or playing some annoying silly game with him, like he is permanently friend zoned no matter if Naruto is trying to impress her.
Like if she likes Sasuke for his coldness, does she found something baddass over that?
But it's interesting that we see him smirking for the first time, like she's not that annoying anymore Lol for him,

I was hoping that, since Hinata confessed to Naruto and has the desire to be with him after the war is over that this idiotic love Naruto has for Sakura will go away.
