Well they person did it for fun even before knowing...

• Boruto had a lightning affinity.
  
• Boruto has a one eye Dōjutsu.
  
• That Sasuke would be his Teacher.
  

You can also clearly see some dated stuff in this fan art like

• His Hyuga symbol seen in the concept art for the Last. (Which killed NaruSaku fans may they RIP)
  
• And Lavender Eyes which they later changed

Anyway to the point of this Thread

a) Seeing as this is a mutation due to particularly cellular configurations will the possibility for Boruto and Himawari borrowing similar traits or vice versa with each other. (As in Boruto being able to awaken regular Byakugans and Hima Bolt's dojutsu)

b) Do we even know what Himawari's affinities are? And are there more possible other mutation that we might see in her and Bolt via Uzumaki/Hyuga genes (she too has the whiskers)

c) Will Sasuke be the one to help out Bolt with his Dojutsu if so do we have to wait until after the Boruto the movie timeline to have some progress in that matter?

d) Will Naruto give the Frog Sage ability to both of his children and if so will Himawari inheret the scroll while Sasuke will give his son he never had the snake scroll

e) Will Orochimaru get involved more so later in the series due to sending and creating Mitsuki for the sole purpose of aiding Boruto

f) If Orochimaru will indeed get more involved what is his actual goal... good or bad? and why is he only after Boruto? is he also after Himawari?

g) Will the Hyuga get involved seeing as this dojutsu connects to them and do they have some hidden old scrolls talking about this eye dojutsu

h) Will we see Toneri again?

i) and now that Boruto has some dojutsu will the possibility of Chidori be plausible for Boruto

But it's cool. I know the part of the base don't like the Hyuuga's that much, but, with Bolt it kinds of add a new dynamic. He isn't a complete Hyuuga, but he shows their good sides at the same time.

he clearly gets Sasuke's sword down the line .... so I am wondering if the sauce will give him his snake or hawk scroll and/or teach him a way to use chidori

That fan art is cool but even there Saradas powers are supressed due to the glasses

Since Hyuuga has two KGs, Boruto might somehow have the ability to expel chakra just like a Hyuuga does. Jyuken was devised because of the Byakugan and their chakra expelling ability. Boruto can still display a fighting style reminiscent to Jyuuken despite not having byakugan.

Not sure about Himawari, but given the official art that depicted a Double-Byakugan Bolt alongside Snake Sage Mitsuki and MS Salad, it is possible he'll get it in both eyes.

Likely, depending on what the eye does. Also possible Hinata will train him in regards to using the eye, assuming the mutated Byakugan maintains Byakugan's basic abilities.

Hard to tell what Orochimaru is after, though it's very likely he sent Mitsuki to Konoha as a spy, even if he himself is unaware of it. It seems Orochimaru has interest in Bolt, given he had a picture of him, and this may be due to his lineage.

Logically, they should, considering how much they care for their eyes. Probably won't.

h) Will we see Toneri again?

Depends on if they want to bring him back. Kishimoto did say he wanted him in the Bolt movie but it was rejected. It is possible he's the person Orochimaru used to create Mitsuki, considering their similiairites. And if he is Toneri's clone, that makes him an Ootsutsuki, while Bolt is a Hyuga. I think it's a good move to make, but I doubt it will happen.

Well Bolt now has a dojutsu. He might able to use Jyuuken from his other kkg by expelling his chakra and with his visual prowes able to grant him extensively by seeing some chakra but only when he's not self aware.

I don't think the Hyuga's other KKG was ever revealed, doubt Kishimoto even remembers he gave them two KKG. The ability to expel Chakra from all 361 points is nothing more than the result of mastering the Gentle Fist.
