There's no canon proof that its his son because unlike in other cases, it's already been shown that Gai and Lee weren't related even though they looked similar, and that this could be the same. Little Lee also wasn't shown in the academy, I'm pretty sure, so he could possibly be a year older like Lee was.

I'm also sure if that was Tenten's kid it would look like her a bit? Kishi made everyone else obvious merges of their parents, even though genetics don't work that way [whiskers? whiskers!!!!???], I don't expect him to do things properly, especially when it comes to Lee.

I don't even care anymore. Just that stupid, 'tenten was on the last page so they're a pair' logic annoys me.

Let us not forget however, Dai and Guy were father and son and Dai is who Guy got the spirit of youth from. Therefore we have canonical examples of both the two youth believers being blood related and the two youth believers not being blood related. The kid with Lee could therefore be either one. Besides, the kid wouldn't have to look like Tenten to be her son (I am not saying that I believe that Tenten is the mom, but I am disagreeing with your point that the son would look a little like Tenten if he was her son). There are plenty of cases where a child takes severely after one parent and looks nothing like the other. You said that all the kids we've seen look like mergers of the two, but Sarada looks nothing like Sakura to be honest (even when I look at those pictures of Sarada photoshopped to have pink hair, I still don't see resemblance). Bolt looks absolutely nothing like Hinata. In fact, if it wasn't for Himawari having whiskers while being with Hinata and mentioning that she had a brother, it would be possible for someone to think that Naruto just married some random lady. Shikada also looks nothing like Temari.

The only ones that look like mergers of their parents are Himawari (having both whiskers and purple hair), Chocho (being fat and having Karui's skin color) and Inojin (who looks like Sai with a blonde wig on).

As for the point about all the parents being shown together: Naruto and Hinata were not shown together. Sasuke and Sakura were not shown together. Shikamaru and Temari were not shown together. Sai/Ino and Choji/Karui were only shown together because they had scheduled ino-shika chop practice.
