It is said there is time limit between which Nagato could use Rinne Tensei to bring people back to life, like he couldn't bring Yahiko and Jiraiya.

So why is it that Madara was expecting to be brought back to life using Rinne Tensei while he died long before Jiraiya's death?

Someone mentioned that he can only bring people back whom he killed himself, if so, when did Nagato kill Madara?

He had enough chakra to bring back people who recently died but not enough for jiraiya or yahiko

being too late meant that Jiraiya was unreachable at the bottom of the see.
Yahiko was used as a Path of Pein with the Rinnegan and the Rods.

PLUS Madara was attached to the Gedo Mazou. Juubi is what the Mazou is a shell of.
Nagato was at deaths door already while he was using the Rinnegan while attached to the Mazou.

He(Nagato) didn't really have enough strength to survive using Rinne Tensei...
Obito only had 1 Rinnegan in, so he would have died using Rinne Tensei with only 1 Rinnegan.

that's right, he had been fighting the whole leaf village, and he used tons of chakra already..

so have obito been doing in the war... they both would dare to use rinne tensei in a long battle they would surely die....
