So about Naruto Generations...

Ok I have been wondering.. I bought the game, and to me it seems that the only
thing that makes this game worth buying is the wide variety of characters, as there is nothing special about it next to the wide variety of characters, plus the story mode is not very special either.. It lacks others gameplay modes, and the tournament mode, is just........ But I havent played it online, how is the online play?? ( Maybe thats another thing that saves the game, hopefully) I guess the wide variety of characters by itself is reason enough for us hardcore naruto fans to spend 60 dlls on the game.. Lol we are hopeless.. =p

unfortunately this lol but i feel the same way, the story mode was a big letdown.

I live in Denmark, it costs the equivalent of $80 here...you should consider yourself lucky.

you are hopeless it was a way better game maybe not as cinematic but the improvements in combat and all the characters make it worth buying. if you wanted to see what happens watch the anime/ read the manga, but as far as a fighting game for naruto i give it an A+.

I have PS3, it'll be out on the 30th and will cost 499DKK. It better be good. The previous ones are epic,I think this one will be an improvement but is mostly being made for fans to enjoy and have fun battles. It's less of a story game.

Hmmm... Well you guys cant deny the game doesnt have any special modes( that includes the story mode) and the only thing thats bad ass is the wide variety of characters, and the combat is in fact good, but not much different than ninja storm 2. I wont sell the game, as im a huge fan just like you guys, and in the end of the day its a must have for any fan.
So what im wondering is that if the online play is any good

It's fine. Go with Danish if easier.

LeafSpirit20: This is kinda a mid-way stop for the fans. It's not like it's meant to be storm 3. I think they maybe could have reduced the cost or something though.

It's just a game made for battles and fun. With some cool additional content.

I'm mean... that's nothing new in terms of gaming.

MW2 to Black Ops to MW3... Not a lot changes. Small changes here and there.

Street Fighters... Doesn't change much. SFIV to SSFIV to SSFIV AE

Mortal Kombat.. I guess the game changed a little, but ehh..

Tekken.. Few changes here and there.

GTA.


I mean.. that's games in general. If they continue the series, it doesn't change much. Balance out the game a little, add a few new tech.. same gameplay, same characters, a few new characters, different story, or same story = new game.

If you're a hardcore gamer, the changes they make are actually worth buying.

They did say a fair few times that the main focus was balancing the characters and making online balanced too.

Storm 3 will be epic.

To me the game is a filler till Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 comes out. It will do for me until then. Loving the large amount of playable characters.

I kind of feel the same way. I like the wide viriety of characters but still dissapointed with the amount of jutsu that everyone has.. I wish they would go back to the way it was when it was out for Ps2 when every character had like 4 special jutsu, that was awesome. And it seemed to me the story was alot shorter.

No its pretty much story telling then fighting then more story telling.. seems worth it for the upgrades they did though

I like the rework on the substitution. More combos, strategy,ect. It was worth the buy for me.

Like you guys say, they should had shorten the price to about 40 dlls, and yeah, this game is indeed a filler until the third comes out. And this game is not for hardcore gamers only, is for hardcore naruto fans only, so i guess I cant complain.
So is the online good?
