1. So if the first technique counts as a sub, does that mean it counts towards YOUR personal use of subs per battle? The snake is performing the sub, so i'm not sure on the answer.

I throw my left arm forwards, summoning and then releasing a torrent of snakes from my sleeve. These snakes travel toward your clone, pushing him into the air while they spin around him, slashing and biting with their fangs. The clone falls to the ground, and the snakes disperse.

2. So do all of these snake ninjutsu require a blood sacrifice + summoning seals or can they just happen happen "whenever"? I release snakes, but do I need to summon them first?

Nico Robin looked at the visitor. "eh. Good thing he left." She jokingly commented. Now, onto the actual training. "Oh, hello Casshern. Well, simply put, i believe it does count as YOUR personal substitution technique, the rules are strictly one substitution technique, or other variants. As for your second questions, It honestly depends on the technique as to whether you need a blood sacrifice or it just happens 'whenever'. Iff you are asking whether or not you need to spend two jutsus on this (one for summoning, and one for the actual technique), then no, the technique includes the summoning. Basically, to perform this, it only counts as one jutsu."

You must be registered for see images

Nico Robin whips out a scroll for the next technique. "Alright, a technique used for actual snakes. It's supplementary based but it can still be used offensively. You summon small snakes from your sleeves and you order the snakes to transform into an almost perfect clone of yourself. They are linked, and you, as the summoner, "know" what the clone is doing at all times, and through this mental link, you can control the clone. It is able to use basic ninjutsu and B-rank and below taijutsu. Alright, so how would you use this techniques for combinations? With the given restrictions (B-rank and below taijutsu, and basic ninjutsu), give me examples of combinations you'd used. Oh, and questions if you have any."

(Hebi Kage Bushin) Snake Clone Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: A jutsu develop for spying and gathering information which involves the user summoning a small snake from his sleeve. The user will then have the snake transform into a pure reflection of themselves. The user is able to know exactly what the clone is doing. The clone is only able to use basic snake ninjutsu and taijutsu up to B rank. The clone is linked to the user and is controlled at a distance through mental commands, unlike normal clones which can act independent from the user.
Note: Counts towards the users clone limit.
Note: Only one can be made at a time.

Same question as above.. can I just say "I summon snakes" or do I have to draw blood and perform the seals in order to summon them?

Technique seems pretty terrible, so... i'd probably never use it. But if I had to, I could use it in close range, and have the clone use taijutsu (anything using a technique) while I attack from a different direction.

"No you do not need to perform the summoning ritual. Your tattoo is located in your arms, so the snake is summoned to your arms and slides down your sleeves. And yeah, it isn't very versatile and the abilities it can perform is pretty vague, but oh well. I'd personally rather use a normal clone, hah." Nico Robin takes out a scroll with the details for the next technique. "Well, this particular one I did not learn because I didn't have Fuuin, and it is a new one. You, on the other hand, have fuuin and can learn it. You basically capture the target through several snakes from your sleeves. Because this technique in particular has a few rules, I'd like you to explain/analyze the technique, and how you would use it in battle."

(Hebi o Kyūshū) Chakra Absorbing Snakes
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (-50 chakra per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user restrains the target with snakes that he summons from his sleeves which will wrap around the target and steadily absorbs their chakra. The more the captured target increases their chakra, the tighter the grip from the snakes. The snakes however cannot absorb endless amounts of chakra and will eventually saturate. They are also susceptible to damage from techniques and their binding power is of B-Rank physical strength. While bound, the target will face a stead drain of chakra which will make it increasingly difficult to mold chakra for techniques (1st turn, no S-Ranks or above, 2nd turn, no A-Ranks or above, 3rd turn and onwards, no B-Rank or above). Senjutsu chakra or Bijuu chakra cannot be absorbed and will immediately end the technique, making the snakes either crumble into rocks or disintegrate. The chakra drained is lost.
Note: Binding can last up to 4 turns
Note: Can only be used by Snake Summoners and requires Fuuinjutsu knowledge.

Alright this one is awesome and I will definitely use it. This is probably best paired with some sort of paralyzing gen, when you are within short range. I can also see using this in a taijutsu battle and suddenly releasing the snakes on contact with the opponent. Even if the snakes successfully trap the opponent, I doubt they would allow them to live past a turn. So that's a big weakness.

"Anything that paralyzes, or impairs them for a short-duration should be useful alongside this technique because you'd be able to absorb chakra for a longer amount of time, and the more chakra you absorb, the harder it is for the opponent to mold chakra." Nico Robin pitches in a training dummy, ten meters from the student. "Another offensive and simple technique. You would first channel chakra in your hand and transform it into a huge number of snakes. This technique is a combination of the transformation and summoning technique, where a large amount of snake is summoned to your arms and is transformed into your arms, similar to the combination transformation Naruto and that Toad performed. Anyways, release it as a torrent of snakes and have the snakes push the target upwards then grab a hold of the targets' jaws, in this case, the training dummy. By the time the enemy is mid-air, i'd like you to materialize snakes from the ground and appear under the area the target is hovering over. With a lot of force, motion your arms downwards to whip the enemy to the pile of snakes, and as it makes contact with it, send a surge of chakra through all the snakes and cause them to disperse. Perform it on the training dummy, which should completely destroy it while giving me advantages, disadvantages, and whether or not you would use it and why."

(Hebi Risu no Jutsu) – Snake Explosion Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user turns their hands into a number of huge snakes that hit the opponent upwards. Next, one snake grabs the opponent in its jaws and drags the opponent into the pile of snakes left below. The user then sends a pulse of chakra into the pile, detonating the snakes into a massive explosion.
Note: May only be used once per battle

I place my hands forward, channeling chakra into them in order to summon a large mass of snakes while also transforming my hands. These rush forward, hitting the dummy into the air. Then, one snake extends into the air from the large pile below, and latches on to the dummy. The dummy is then pulled into the pile, continuously begin bitten and constricted. I then release a wave of chakra into the snakes, detonating them like a bomb.

Being A-rank, I suppose I could use this in a different manner against elemental techs (like earth/water to blow them up), instead of the opponent. Since the hands are transformed, you cannot grip anything or perform seals until it ends. Other than that, this technique is pretty bad.. I'll probably never use this technique. Being a multi-step technique, it's worthless. No one will allow the initial snake to hit them into the air, so anything happening after that is pretty much useless.

Nico Robin shakes her head. "Geez, you have high expectations. Let's move on." Through several hand seals, Nico Robin summons training shadow clones around you. "Alright. Summon large snakes from your sleeves, which would approach the target and bind them in place. This is a really great way to keep them from moving completely, because of their great size - furthermore, by allowing your "killing intent" to affect the target, which you should have learned back in Ninjutsu training, you can further weaken the targets' resolve and completely paralyze them in place. The clones around you... Perform the technique, as you can see, this technique is usable against multiple enemies. Once you've performed it, give me advantages and disadvantages."

I summon several snakes from my sleeves which immediately slither toward each of your clones as they run at me. Both clones are then bound by the large snakes Casshern then looks directly at the clones, projecting his hate and dark emotions which makes the clones lose their shit and become paralyzed for a short while. Casshern slings a few shuriken at each clone to make them poof.

This one is actually useful, because you can bind multiple people + paralyze. This also seems useful on very small summons, and really good in close-range battles. Although the snakes don't do any damage so the opponent doesnt HAVE to immediately remove the snakes if they choose to attack the user directly. One of the better techniques we've seen so far. o-o

"Wow you said something positive! I'm surprised." Nico Robin sarcastically laughed. "Let's move on. Channel chakra in your mouth and literally 'throw up' a large torrent of snakes from your mouth. They slither out and approach the target at a fairly fast speed. The torrent of snakes cover a wide area, crushing and biting anyone caught in their way. It can attack multiple people, but, it can only be used on targets within mid-range. Questions? And how would you use this in battle?"

I channel chakra into my mouth, summoning a large torrent of snakes. I then unhinge my jaw and begin vomiting large, reptilian creatures. These rush forth in a wave before spreading out all over the training ground.

Seems pretty generic. o-o Only reason I would use this would be for cosmetic use/rp value. Although I guess you could all sorts of items in the snake mass, like seals, explosive tags, weapons, etc.

"Your face is basic." Nico Robin smiled, and soon after, continued training. "Alas, we've reached the final technique. Perform the summoning ritual to summon the Dual Headed Snakes. Once they are forced into the battlefield, they are to summon more snakes, and from those snakes, even more snakes come out in order of two's. They essentially branch off into one another, becoming thinner the farther it reaches while multiplying at the same time. Ultimately, the many snakes attempt to capture the target through bindings, pulling, etc. Now, because you can't perform it yourself for obvious reasons, I'd like you to describe situations in which you'd use this, and combinations you can use alongside this technique. Oh yeah, keep in mind its range is limited."

If used against a solid technique such as earth, water, etc. the snakes could wrap around the projectile, and then sling it back towards the enemy. Of course that's pretty specific but it's a possibility. Best used with smaller projectiles by the look of the tech. Also could "slap" small things like mud bullets out of the way. Not that good of a technique, but I see some very specific usages for it.

Yeah, and it isn't the fastest technique too, since you have to wait for the snakes to appear, since it branches out more and more the further it travels. Anyways we're done here.

any last questions? ;-;
