Snake ninjutsu is a set of techniques that allow a person with the snake summoning contract to "summon" many normal sized snakes to perform an attack or defense. It was developed by Orochimaru. The technique was ideal for him probably because summoning the snakes is instant and many can be summoned for a purpose. Other users include Sasuke and Kabuto, with Kabuto achieving the highest form; sage mode.

Combinations-strategies
After holding the target in place I believe the number of follow-up jutsus you can perform is endless. You can shoot fire or lightning at him,wind, or even create spikes to pierce him where he stands.
Ways to counter this technique
I think a kenjutsu attack may be effective since its only one snake.Otherwise Lightning Release Armor.
You Doing the jutsu.
I stretch my right hand towards the clone, and by my snake contract, I summon a snake which shoots out of my sleeve in a quick motion and latches unto the clone. The snake quickly wraps around the clone twice before sinking its fangs into him.

- If successfully used to bind an opponent it leaves room for many follow-up attacks.
Weak points
- The snake remains attached to the user at all times, restricting free movement.
- Since the snakes have to travel a fair distance before wrapping around their target, when used on a mid range target evasion is more than possible.

Use a fire technique to burn them before they are able to get to you. If you are unlucky and they latch unto you use a lightning technique that generates a wave of lightning example wave of inspiration.
You Doing the jutsu:
I channel my chakra into my right hand, and as I thrust it toward a target I summon myriad snakes to erupt from my sleeve. The snakes extend from my sleeve to the target upon appearing and bind him in place while attacking him. As the bulk of ravenous slithering snakes are almost in contact with their target, the snakes diverge and hence attack the target from different angles. The first contact is from one that bites the targets hand while the others wrap around the target with his hands beside him while squeezing him. Two of the snakes pass under the target's armpit and slither around to bite him on the right side of his neck and his left clavicle.

(Kyodaija Kawarimi) Snake Body Replacement

During the battle with gamabunta and katsuyu, Manda used this technique to evade from toad oil flame bomb; the skin was deceiving however it had a transparent opacity, which in between attack wasn't noticeable.

I take out a summoning scroll, unroll it, and lay it on the ground in front of me. I then take out a kunai from my hand to pierce my left thumb, drawing out some blood. After that I perform the required hand seals and slam my left hand on the clone to summon a brown 10ft tall snake in front of me.

Description:
The user will summon a generic Giant Snake whose size can vary from a 10 meter long snake to ones the size of a boss summon, rivaling 100 meters long. These snakes vary in appearance and size and serve only as basic warriors, having only the normal characteristics of snakes. Although they are quite simple snakes, they are very enduring and resistant and, when big enough (about 50 meters long) they can take up to B-Rank damage.

This barrage continues in such a way that it lifts her several feet into the air, in this tornado of snakes.
