That situation sounds oddly familiar xD Anyway, Smoke. What is it, how do you plan to utilize it, and how will it fit for your current style of fighting?
Smoke Release is the utilization of the smoke element. The elements which make this up is Fire and Wind. You can generate bodies of smoke from the atmosphere or your body. I'll look forward to learn more about it during the training.
As to why i wanted this ability, I see potential in it corporating with my Dark Release.

A more supplementary based ability, which focuses around trapping the opponent and subsequently suffocating them. Overall, its a nice ability to couple with most things, since it can be useful in an abundance of scenarios. Nonetheless, let us move on.
Now, for the first technique, you will create a clone made of Smoke, from your hands (the smoke emerges there). When struck, the smoke turns into a smokescreen, and is mostly used a diversion for further attacks. However, the clone can be used as a source for future Smoke techniques.

Alright, a clone related technique. I guess every element gotta have these. The clone is formed by smoke which comes from your hands. I got a question; can it go past short range at all? Also, up to what rank can he use smoke techniques?
As to how I'd use it, I guess for diversion obviously. Considering how it can disperse into smoke which can be used as a source for other smoke techniques, it's worth it.

It can, and I believe only C rank and below.
Manipulate your Smoke to wrap around the opponent. This is basically in order to trap and suffocate them within the smoke, pretty damn useful.

This technique is a binding one of sorts, which allows the user to manipulate the smoke towards the opponent and grab him by any limb. The fact that it doesn't indicate which limb or part exactly, gives you a lot of freedom to make creative usages of this technique. I'd most likely go for grabbing the hands so they don't make handseals.

Good, now for the next one.
With this technique, you will unleash some dark bombs from your palms, aimed at the opponent. These will release a thick smoke, which creates a veil like smokescreen, which aims to suffocate the opponent. Pretty simple.

A cool diversionary Smoke technique in my opinion. The dark bombs can travel up to medium range which is handy and upon detonation they'll release a thick smoke. What I mainly like is that this smoke doesn't only suffocate the target, but also obstruct their vision. To put this smoke away, the opponents may also use Wind, which will just be candy for my Dark Release ability.

A technique which is sued after creating a smoke clone. Once its struck, you will manipulate the chakra to spread, and create up to 5 more clones, which can attack once more. Pretty lit.

Oh, this technique is a hidden gem. Should an already existing smoke clone get hit/struck, the smoke which will be spreading from the impact will be used to create other (up to 5) clones, which can use smoke related techniques and normal Tai/Ken I believe (?). It's a good technique to ruin the opponent's plan if he intends to get rid of clones, as this will make his matter worse by multipling the clones in the field. Personally, I'd most likely use this technique to pull an Uzumaki Barrage like technique just for the fun of it.

It can only use Smoke techniques. Which is great if you have an arsenal built around it.
A donated technique where you will release smoke from your wrist launchers (probably have to be edited to hands now) and manipulate it into a spherical shape around your hands made of spinning smoke. Within this smoke, you will unleash some Shuriken which move through the smoke and just hang there till you strike someone. This causes you to both strike someone, and cut them with the shuriken. Pretty simple premise.
