Smoker was exhausted from fighting vergo, gotta give him credit for fighting back,but no it wasn't one shot. And anyway why are people acting as if luffy defeated doffy by himself???The first time he fought doffy with no help, he was literary humiliated like smoker, even law was humiliated by himself, but no let's just ignore luffy and hate on smoker and sanji....

Well. We know who took part in the defeat of Doffy (if it comes to it), but we all know Luffy is going to be singled out in his defeat and the World Government is going to either try to cover it up or instigate it so they can feel like the good guys.

If you read the whole fight again, you'll see how badly Luffy was held back due to plot reasons an example can include the way in which Luffy just stalled himself for 20 minutes so his G4 can run out and all those bullshit chapters about the people in dressrosa had to be shown. Also how DD commented on Luffy being half dead twice, (after running around dressrosa, Colloseum, and Letting Bellamy beat him cause nakama, that's why. I can go on if you want me to.

I really doubt this would be a big news like crocos defeat, After all,fujitoura wanted cover the whole issue, there's also the thing doffy has which the castle dragons needed. So yeah, this one will probably be overlooked/Ignored.....
Plot restricts everyone bro, even doffy.

I think he will react by buying you a dictionary and teaching you how to use words. Luffy absolutely didn't "one shot" Doffy. One-shot literally means when it takes only ONE shot to beat someone. Doffy had hours of damage.
Read the statement again then answer, I'm talkin about doffy VS smoker, and the fight btwn Doffy and smoker can be singled out as one shot, becouse smoker dint even do anythin to doffy, doffy was evading all the attcks then basically wounded him with one attck

I don't have many hopes for Smoker
He had 2 year ts t like everyone else and he dissapointed heavily
If he would train now he needs ridiculous and fast improvement, don't forget the time the SH's will face a Yonko will most likely be not much more than a month in op time. Smoker catching up seems like something impossible to me right now.

Yeah, I can tell and not just you but the majority of the people think the same way. As if they didn't realize that PH wasn't a fair representation of his full strength. We never saw him go all out and I find it hard to believe that over a 2 year TS all he learned is haki. He could get an ability that's equivalent to Luffy's gear 2nd/3rd powerup and just work on his haki, idk. He didn't show anything new with his DF and I doubt Oda would just leave Luffy's marine rival like that. To me, from Smoker's perspective, I viewed the PH arc as an arc to give him character development, not show off his full strength. We'll see what he's capable of the next time we see him fight Luffy.
There's a lot of potential with Smoker's DF. I've seen plenty of theories before of Smoker's future abilities and they sound OP af. An example:

I don't think he'll care to be honest it's not in his nature to do so. He's not Coby who fanboys over Luffy.
Besides he's going to be chasing Luffy in order to capture him still anyway, Smoker isn't afraid of anyone.

He dint care when Luffy defeated Crocodile becouse by that time he knew luffy could not counter his Devil fruit, now that Luffy has mastered Haki, and able to physically hurt him, its another thing, and Luffy defeat of the man smoker could not even put a scretch on, is another thing.
