[Question] Smoker not acting normal?

Why didn't smoker go to Green bit after he took the infected children safely to a facility where they would get treated?

It seems its out of character for him to do this. He always chasses after the mugiwara's , heck he even left his base on Loguetown in order to go in pursuit. So why hasn't he come to Green bit? [ Law told him he was going there ]

Well first of it isn't Smoker who is securing the children, but Tashigi. He stayed behind to wait for the marines and free the ones that were trapped in stone beforehand. He also got beaten up pretty badly too. Maybe Kizaru (? the ice guy don't remember him) told him something that makes him act like this.

I dont think Akainu gives him that much free rein in his new Marines and anyways there is an Admiral there and its really in charecter for Smoker to not want b ordered around which is what wld happen if u are within the Vicinity an officer who is yo Commanding officer.

He got owned hard by Vergo and Dofla. The last thing i would do is go after Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Law. He'd get murdered. Not to mention Fujitora already is in Dressrosa.

To much Smoker hate nowadays...Smoker is arguably stronger than Zoro...

Anyway Smoker just got injured by Doflamingo and while I'd like to see him again I think Oda has set it up for him to do some training himself sort how like Garp destroyed mountains to prepare for his fight against Chinjao.

But anyway Smoker will be back soon and will be fighting Luffy again.

Anyways, he probably didn't pursue because he needs to recover.

I think the Smoker hate comes from his losses on Punk Hazard as to some people losing means you suck...yet they completely ignore the feats Smoker gained that arc. Not only does he have the advanced version of Haki he also was able to tussle with Law and push him back in a physical confrontation.

Not to mention people seem to forget Smoker also lost on purpose in order to retrieve Law's heart back due to the debt he had with Law both Law and Vergo noticed this the latter a little to late, also Smoker displayed potentially one of the greatest durability feats so far he took a full Haki hit from Vergo that had after shocks which bent metal walls and was still able to stand up a few moments later. I agree as well Vergo was by far the strongest on Punk Hazard in terms of physical strength and Oda showed this by having to have both Law and Smoker team up on him (Those two were also two of the most powerful people on the island) and if hadn't been for Law's haxxed fruit they would have both been defeated.

But it's a shame most people now don't actually read into the fights all they care about is who won and who lost and immediately deem the loser a weakling.
