Tell me what your know about smoke Ninjutsu, its strenght and weakness, its users[/color]

Honestly I don't have much of an idea, but what from I gather it is a type of ninjutsu that allows the user to manipulate smoke either though their body - but mostly known to use a launcher of some kind that is attached to your wrist to produce the smoke, and then manipulate it with your chakra, creating different types of things dragons, to anything really.

Weakness, I am guessing similar to ninjutsu it is weak to all elements, or natural, while what it is strong against isn't any element but more how one uses it, that would be my best guess.

If one carries a cigarette or makes cigarette based CW, could one in theory produce smoke using it that way instead of using the wrist launcher? I'm leaning towards yes, but I'm not too sure.

You are right for the first paragraph apart from making it from your body.

You are right here too. Smoke actually is manipulated by your chakra so, you must already have a smoke to manipulate. so it acts as nomal smoke would. Though because your chakra is present, You are able to shape it.

Yes you can though would a smoke from a ciggerette be enough? it'll be small in my oppinion, a reason why people have not used that idea. Though I may be wrong depending on how you plan on executing it.


In addition,

Smoke is a collection of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis, together with the quantity of air that is entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass. That is what my firend Wikipedia says, but short and in layman's terms it what you've said.

Smoke is not an actual element, which means that we can't just "blow" the smoke directly out of our mouth, or any other ways. For that we use accessories like a gas mask, some smoke bombs, or a wrist launcher. Wrist launcher seems like the best and the easies way to do it. But, the launcher that you remember Kiho used was too big and messy. That's why I'm warmly suggesting you to state in your bio update that you have a one barrel launcher which enables you to move a lot easier and faster, and it practically serves the same purpose. Plus, without a wrist launcher, you can't perform a specific Smoke technique.

You can always first create a Fire jutsu, and then wait for it to start burning something and the smoke to show up. Is that really the best solution, with it taking more chakra and precious time? Though it could work and you may use it as a tactics. Or say a clash of fire and something that creates a cloud of smoke, would give you an abundant source of smoke to use.

Now, elemental relations... There's no element where if techniques of equal rank clash, the Smoke would win out, simply because is even lighter than air. So, it's can't break through any attack/defense. But unfortunately, Smoke does have elemental weaknesses, and that are Wind and Water. Wind can simply blow away the smoke. Water of the other hand, soaks up the smoke particles consuming it.

Yea, its probably best you have a one barrel wrist launcher.

Depending on how you want to customize yours. Then, I made Nel have this toy wrist launcher. light, small and can be hidden under her sleeves if she had one.
My Sensei's Sensei had a wrist launcher that had a thin pipe above and below his fore-arm. with that, he can still use his hands for handseals, taijutsu and the launchers can be hidden under the sleeves to execute a supprise attack.

Also you would need a gas mask. You can release smoke too from a gas mask. Then, I made nel had a seal on her left cheek and through fuin, she was able to summon the mask onto her face in an instant. The gas mask also makes you immune to your smoke techniques, should you use a jutsu that traps both you and your opponent.

Okay Now I will be giving you a gas mask, a wrist launcher(you'll customize this yourself) and smoke bombs.

I'm assuming it can only use smoke techniques up to C-rank, but if not what rank can it used up to?

And, three other uses would be, creating it from a previous smoke technique, and/or fire technique using the fire as a medium. And lastly fairly obvious but by using your launcher from your wrist, and I'm assuming it can also be made though the usage of a smoke bomb?

Starting by releasing smoke from my gas mask, I manipulate the smoke by the use of my chakra and change the smokes form into a clone like form, which it shares my traits and other things. From there, I instruct the clone to run towards your clone once within close range, the clone merely tries to punch your clone with it's left hand, and as the punch gets within point blank range, I instruct the clone to disperse releasing itself into smoke causing annoyance for the clone as well as if the clone was to inhale the fumes of the smoke, it would cause health issues. Using the smoke as a distraction, I run towards the clone, and due to wearing the mask I have no issue with the smoke itself, and can see quite clearly as the get further into the smoke, I merely jump up and perform a simple drop kick with my left leg, clobbering the clone into the ground, and forcing it to disperse.

As the smoke disappears, or more so is picked up by the air and blows away, I appear and say the following.

Description: the user using his wrist launcher will shoot out small dark bombs that will then release thick smoke to create a veil of smokesscreen to suffocate the target.
Note: can only be used by Kiho or a smoke users with a wrist launcher

This one is simple but you have to practice and master aiming, taking wind and other factors into consideration. You will send chakra into your wrist launcher and make it shoot say 3 smoke bombs from it. Depending on you, the size of your smoke bomb/ball may vary, just like how pills have different sizes. Your smoke bomb may be smaller but release a large fume compared to one that is bigger, its all about how it was compressed.

Once you shoot the bomb, use chakra to manipulate it to create a think smokescreen to suffocate and blind your target(s).

Note that the bomb could be evaded or cut though if they hit any physical obstacle, they detonate nonetheless.

I want you to use this jutsu and turn it to something interesting as you combine it with other two planned move to eliminate my clone. the other moves can be elemental or basic 4.

I start by listening to my sensei and what he expects from me, once having a basic understanding of the following technique, I check for wind there is a light breeze that is going in the direction of right, so with that I lift my right arm up to reveal a smoke launcher from under my coat and I aim it carefully but slightly directing it to the left of the clone and with that I release three smoke bombs from said launcher and as they fly towards the clone they are picked up by the breeze and are right in front of the clone, once within close range of the clone I manipulate the smoke bombs to explode into a thick smokescreen, which covers a large radius around the clone. Once the smokescreen is in place, I use my previous knowledge assuming the clone hasn't moved from that spot to create a dome of wind around the clone, large enough to contain all the smoke within it, as the dome is created I release wind into it thus causing the smoke to blow around within the dome itself, the wind pushes the clone around, while the smoke is an annoyance and make more easier to inhale. Whilst the dome is happening I perform two hand seals to increase the power of the technique and create a even larger dome.

By the increase in chakra the wind gains more power as it increases the power of the wind blast aswell as the size by expanding the wind currents.

The next one is simple. You make smoke from any of your device or through smoke bombs and manipulate it to bind your target. You can even use a targets smoke against him. Say a target uses a smoke bomb so that to conceal his own position, before he escapes, you can quickly use the smoke he himself creates to bind him.

Use this simple and subtle jutsu in two different ways against Scorps.

I grab out a handful of smoke bombs from my pouch and throw them with my left hand, as they reach a area around Scorps, I detonated them and from that I use my chakra to manipulate the smoke so that it wraps out him, causing a type of basic restraint causing movement a tad tricky, once the smoke is in play, next up while Scorps is trapped within the smoke, I release dark chakra into the ground below and it travels towards the area of which Scorps should still be, once it is within that area, I merely clap, releasing all the chakra from within the ground to explode upwards, the dark chakra causes great internally damage as well as minor burns.

Using my smoke launcher, I release a smoke bomb or two that travel at Scorps in a rather fast motion, the bombs explode causing a large amount of smoke to been seen, from that I manipulate the smoke using my chakra to wrap itself around Scorps, causing movement to be tough, as well as generally seeing anything. Performing a single hand seal I create a small blanket of wind that is placed right between the ground, and Scorps' feet. It goes five a slight shine, but due to the smoke it would be quite hard to notice and once it is in play I simply move my hand forward to pull the blanket out under his feet causing him to fall, this in conjunction with the smoke, due to being surprised from falling Scorps mouth should be slightly open, would causes the smoke to be inhaled and causes internally based damage to him.

Yes, using Byakugan, the Byakugan can see the chakra pathway networks thus easily being able to see the user though the smoke, I don't think Sharingan can though due to the smoke being covered in one chakra, it would be hard for the Sharingan to determine where the user lies within the smoke.

By grabbing some more smoke bombs from my pocket, I throw them and cause them to explode, from that I release my chakra into the smoke causing the smoke to become thicker and denser, and I also manipulate the smoke with my chakra thus controlling where it goes, and/or how it moves. I move it to circle around Reborn creating a situation for him that causes his vision to be troubled, as well the smoke would most likely cause issues if breathed in, from that I perform one hand seal and slam my hands on the ground to create a portal above Reborn, releasing a hollow lid of earth that comes raining down and traps him within the lid, the lid is roughly the size of a small oven, which is just enough to fit Reborn within, but the reason to why I decided to use this method was to trap Reborn within the smoke, and the lid being compact and dense, making sure that I used enough chakra so there wasn't any holes or what have yous, after some time the smoke will suffocate him, and do large amounts of internal damage, such a damaging lungs etc...

(Doton: Otoshibuta) – Earth Release: Dropping Lid

Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.
