Taek was already irritated but the instructor had to make it even worse by asking questions right off the bat, eager to learn this new ability in order to crush his foes Taek conceded and answered his teacher, "My name is Taek, and you are to teach me Smoke.." Taek said as he turned his head to the side avoiding eye contact. "I'm told it's not an element but rather a form of ninjutsu where the user kneads their chakra in order to manipulate the smoke, some are even capable of transforming their bodies. The ninjutsu can be used to manipulate existing smoke or even create it. The greatest advantage of this ninjutsu would be stealth."

 

[Priest]

Priest sits down and as soon as Taek finishes his statement, He would feign ignorance. You were saying?

Priest moves closer to his student, examining him from head to toe then continue. So you are the one who wants to learn how to smoke or smoke someone, or smoke wtv. And I did not ask you to tell me what smoke is yet.

Priest goes back to where he was sitting and again Tell me. Why smoke? What do you see in it that makes you want to learn it? Is smoke a kG or advanced ninjutsu? What are the strenghts and its weakness?

Taek's irritation grew ever stronger as the maniac with the cross around his neck came closer as if he were examining Taek's potential. This however was difficult his instructors every word was insulting, Taek simply looked the man in the eyes imagining him being ripped apart by vultures. He then smiled and said, "I want to learn smoke to smoke someone, I assumed you wanted to know what I wanted to learn so I told you... As for what it's advantages are, I'd say stealth, the fact that it's fatal if breathed in for too long, as well as becoming smoke part. I think one important disdavantage would be all wind techs, breaking apart techniques easily. However we can choke fire out. It's not a Kekkei Genkai as anyone can learn it, it's simply an advanced ninjutsu."

Priest nods his head, acknowledging his student's replies to his questions.

Next I want you to begin to mold your chakra, release it and change the nature of the chakra into smoke. I want you to cause a small smoke cloud to form.

Taek molded his chakra changing the properties of the chakra to that of a dense smoke, the bluish tint became white then grey, it increased in thickness finally becoming a cloud of smoke in front of him, "How's that?"

 

[Priest]

Very Good.

Priest makes a clone.

Now I want you to do your though you'll be using your smoke chakra to form a clone. Also let your clone engage my clone in combat using the ability its able to use which is Taijutsu and smoke ninjutsu, though you are yet to learn ny smoke ninjutsu. However, you can make the clonee create a diversion with its smoke.

Taek kneaded his chakra releasing a cloud of smoke, which he then formed into a clone, an exact duplicate of his own self. The clone after being formed ran towards his instructors clone, unfortunatley it was punched in the face. The clone however did well to turn into a smoke screen giving his original the cover he needed to launch a clean hit.

 

[Priest]

Simple and precise. Priest sees that his student is learning faster. He would weave a handsign creating several clone which he'll be using for this training. Priest is a strict albeit fun teacher. He believes in work and practical result instead of theories and hypothesis.
Priest hurls a scroll toward Taek and commands 2 clones to attack him once he understands how to perform the jutsu in the scroll.

What's in the scroll is simple. Taek only need to create a source of smoke either by releasing it from his body or by simply converting his smoke clones back to smoke. He can then manipulate the source of smoke to wrap around his enemies which is now my clones, binding and imprisoning them.

My clones on the other hand would each bring out a katana and lunge at the same time towards Taek.

You are not restricted to only smoke techniques that I posted. You can use any other things you have learnt, even smoke to get out of situations or even counter and combine them well with the techniques I give you.

You don't necessarily need to perform them orthodoxly, by using them in the short skirmish and using them well, I'll be satisfied that you have a correct knowledge of them.

Taek then used the smoke he created and formed a lined barrier in front of him. He then used the smoke to wrap around his two clones and restricting their movement. He then grabbed his katana and cut the two clones turning them to smoke.

Before the smoke could catch them, the clones creates pillars of earth beneath them to propel them upwards and out of the reach of the smoke. Then they both come back down with a powerful drop kick on your head.

Taek watched as the clones manipulated the earth to launch themselves into the air, Tark smirked simply forming a cloud of smoke above him enveloping the clones in a sphere of smoke hat would crush them slowly. The smoke would suffocate the clones.

Good. You caught them. Priest moves towards a small tree lump and sits. Take. A scroll containing the next technique would drop into your hand.

The scroll is another simple smoke ninjutsu outlined in a way, its simple to conjure. The student only needs to mold his chakra and release smoke pallets from his palms that then explode into a thick smokescreens that can suffocate someone.

As you are finished with the scroll, two of my clones spring into action. One spewing a lightning bold towards you while the other, fire.

Taek quickly expels balls of dark smoke at the opponent that would expand into poisonous and blinding smokescreens. Taek used the smoke to suffocate the Katon, and to quietly evade the lightning bolt. The smoke would then continue to suffocate the clones killing them quietly.

Please elaborate on how you "carefully evade the lightning tech" with the smoke.

By expelling a blast of wind chakra from my heels to launch me forwards, and in an arc.

OOC: Okay you have to be exact about what and what you use. You are not only learning the technique and its usage, you are learning how to use, combine them with battle tactics and other general and basic knowledge of technique usage. You can even go to the extent of telling and posting the jutsus you used and state their rank and why did you use that jutsu at that moment.



Okay Priest claps once more as his student carefully manoeuvre his way through the effective usage and combination of smoke and wind jutsu. Priest would give you a scoll containing the level up version of the smoke clone technique. According to what was written and if Taek should carefully follow the instructions, he'd conjure a smoke clone that looks like a perfect clone but its composition is smoke. Once the smoke is struck, Teak would need to sacrifice more chakra into the smoke from the dispersed clone to form more clones that have the power and image of the former smoke clone.

Priest on the other hand, makes 8 clones that dashes towards Taek. At the same time, Priest would form a B-rank Antlion under Taek to sink him.

Taek wuickly analyzed the scroll and deciphered its contents. Taek manipulated the exaistinf smoke to form into eight clones as his master had done. Suddenly the ground beneath Taek's feet would shift the sinibi released a gust of smoke from his feet whil rising up into the sky the smoke would serve as cover and way to evade the technqiue. The eight clones would each launch a physical attack aimed at the eight clones, a head shot a kneee shot a chest shot, solar plexus all in different ways a spinning kick, a haymaker, a push back kick, a drop kick. Suddenly a large cloud of smoke would seperate the clones from his instructior Taek then formed the smoke between the two into dark smoke spheres launching them at the opponent.

 

[Priest]

Very good. You can use other jutsus from other elements or categories to get out of situations or to form a combination.


Priest is quite impressed with the way Taek handled the clone. He puts him once again, in a B-rank illusion after having him read the next scroll. The genjutsu binds Taek to a tree and as he is trapped, Priest would conjure 4 clones to assault him, all holding a C-rank water sword each, to strike him while he is paralysed in reality.


The instructions in the scroll tell Taek to create a spinning smoke cloud around his arm, he would then hide shurikens within the smoke so that as he execute close quarter attack with the same arm, he slices the target at the same time with the shurikens.

launchers and manipulate it into spherical spinning cloud of
smoke around their hands. Within the smoke the user will
have released multiple small shuriken from their hand. The
shuriken will move through the smoke, though this would be
unknown to the enemy. As the smoke and shuriken are
rotating around the users fist the user will then punch the
enemy and the spinning shuriken slice the enemy once
contact is made.
