Bro Naruto is my favourite character. It true he creates variations, but all in all it is the same justsu. Naruto can not be stronger than Minato. Kish make the main character looks very poor. His father have lots more jutsu and he has a justu that we haven not see yet.

and who helped jiraiya training it? ONLY FUKASAKU

only fukasaku knew sage mode when jiraiya was learning but when minato was learning there were two who knew sage mode, fukasaku and jiraiya

I think it was confirmed that he had huge chakra reserves when he teleported a Bijuu dama, summoned Gamabunta and Teleported the whole 100% kyuubi miles away from the village.

While that's plausible speculation it's still NO.

Regardless fukasaku still knew minato and according to him he had not enough chakra, only nardo and j-man ware eligible to posses SM

He does have enough chakra. Edo Tensei doesn't increase the quanity of ones chakra, it just gets replenished faster.

well look at other shonen characters like goku and luffy they pretty much fight the same but with variations of moves all gokus moves come from his masters kamehameha, spirit bomb and even his instant transmission. luffy may have the most original moveset but it all resolves around stretching also haki isn't originally luffys yet these a characters who are highly praised

He was amazed that Naruto could use senjutsu and referred to it as ''the same as Jiraiya sensei''.
Minato needed Naruto's help in infusing his Rasengan with senjutsu vs Obito.
Yin Kurama said Minato could be backup for Naruto, due to Naruto being the one with
senjutsu right?

Now Minato can suddenly use senjutsu himself and a lot better than Jiraiya apparently, seeing
he doesnt have all kinds of frog body parts transformations like Jiraiya had.

So Minato could have infused his own rasengan with senjutsu (or he could have gone sage mode instead) and he wouldnt have needed Naruto's help in infusing his rasengan.
He wouldnt have needed to be backup perse either.
Yin Kurama was on good terms with Minato, so he would have let Minato combine
sage mode and Kurama's chakra.

He should have referred to Naruto's sage mode as ''the same as mine''
seeing both Naruto and Minato have surpassed Jiraiya in sage mode.

Have I missed anything?
Is Minato using sage mode inconsistent with the rest of the story?
Or does it make sense for him to use it in this chapter all of a sudden?

What are your thoughts and why?

p.s. does this confirm that Minato has huge chakra reserves?

I don't mean to have a go but seriously, Minato was NOT talking about himself using Sage Mode he was comparing the power of the Juubi inside Madara to when it was in Obito. Only he was calling it the "Hermits Power" Hermit meaning Sage yes but in this case, he was referring to The Sage of Six Paths being as the Hermit of Six Paths was the original Jinchuuriki to the Juubi and so Minato, like many others, are associating the power of the Juubi as the same thing as the power of the Sage, when they are two completely different things (Much like Naruto and Kurama, as it is usually Kurama's power that Naruto uses.).

Nothing against him using Sage Mode, but come on, at least kishi should put a frog face and hands on him. (like Jiraiya)
Would be as badass as the perfect sage mode for fans....

The perfect sage mode wasa Naruto thing -_-
Will just forget that panel, hopefully it will not happen again, or kishi will give a better explanation on it next chapter.
