Smarts : Tobirama or Hashirama

They're equally smart I would say. The above posts about Tabirama inventing Edo-Tensei making him smarter are quite moot. Hashirama invented Mokuton and is the only known "natural" user of it. You couldn't use it to his extent if you were stupid. However, I will say that they are smarter in different ways. Tobirama is more analytical and Hashirama likely knows more jutsu. Overall, they're both smart in different ways.

LOL. He didn't invent Mokuton. He was born with it. Both of them excel in different parts of the intelligence spectrum.

Tobirama is more analytical of situations and is inventive (Displayed in both his creation of Edo Tensai and many of his establishments in the leaf) whereas Hashirama is considerably more wise and far superior in battle (Number 1 in the Manga at the current moment).

Tobirama was the wise one he could see the Uchihas were complete threat, while hashirama was too naive.... Tobirama wins in smarts, hashi is also smart though, combat wise

Yea I had a feeling that's what you meant. He developed the KKG to such an extent that he could perform whatever his hearts content desired.
