Haku was Born in a spacious snowy village in the land of water, a land that was distraught by war not long before his birth, Many different sides battled day and night, Some possessing a Kekkei Genkai, after the fighting had stopped, many of the villagers Feared those who possessed the unique Kekkei Genkai and hated them for their abilities. Many villages thought they would all bring another war upon them.
Haku was Raised by a fairly peaceful family, her mother and her father were simple farmers and lived a very peaceful life, Although the mood in the family started changing when Haku's mother was a carrier for the Kekkei Genkai, "Ice Release". Haku's mother had hidden this from her husband for her whole life, hoping that the peace would never go away. But Haku learnt the ability to manipulate water, stunned by this discovery he shown his mother. Hakus father Was watching from a distance and decided to recruit a mob from the village he Killed his wife, Haku then used his Ice Release to impale several spikes into his father and the remaining members of the mob.
Haku was then orphaned forced to take the streets, searching for food and water until A ninja appeared, the ninja known as Zabuza decided to take haku and train him to be a Deadly assassin, to use him as a tool.

Haku was very skillfull in taijutsu thanks to his prowess and his sheer speed, Very fast and accurate with attacks, so fast that sasuke could not follow him until he had awaken his sharingan, He was also very fast to close the gap on Zaru and waraji.
When using his "demonic Mirroring ice crystals" His speed dramatically changed to incredible levels, As this jutsu required a tremendous amount of speed to get to each mirror in a short space of time.

Haku has shown to be a very intelligent person during the anime, this ofcourse was thanks to zabuza having gone through ANBU training, his knowledge was so great that he could even use an acupuncture which could pinpoint a specific spot in the body by using a Senbon.
Haku was shown to have very good observational and analytical abilites, making it very quick for him to get around a persons technique or strategy, he was smart enough to even perform a high leveld jutsu using only one hand for hand seals, this shows his vast knowledge.
