almost everyone knows that if 6 Paths were trying to KILL Naruto they would do it with mid difficulty + this is completely different battle

oh, and wanna know why not him? becase none of the Pains could use any elemental jutsu, unlike Onoki who can use 3 and Dust on top of that AND, most Pains were close to mid range fighters just like Naruto, none of them was Long range fighter like Onoki

he didnt defeat shit it was the nine tails that saved him.
second onoki can easily fly out of naruto range and use earth techniques like golems and earth shifting to rattle him around. then if he uses rasenshuriken onoki can dodge or use dust release. naruto is out of sage mode and lets face it naruto is a weak shit withour sage mode or kyuubi powers so onoki finishes him.
