With no knowledge, deidara doesn't even get off the ground, he engages SM Naruto w/ C1 and gets blitzed by a frog kata or rasengan. With knowledge and a large enough starting distance, Deidara gets taken out even in the air unless he's too far away, and if that's the case he never hits naruto with anything and runs out of clay.
