SM Naruto LOST to Pain

We all know that when Naruto fought Pain he was restrained and defeated which is when Hinata came to his aid and got fodderized right?

Kurama then took over and started fighting Pain. At that point it was Pain vs Kurama not Pain VS Naruto because Naruto was not even fighting... He was to busy disrespecting Lord Minato while Kurama was fighting. Even KCM Naruto is not stronger than Pain considering that he couldn't get passed chibaku tensei without bee and Lord Itachi's help... So how is it that Naruto defeated Pain when it was Kurama who was fighting?

Naw in my view SM Naruto beat Pein. It took Pein to use a cheap tactic to get SM Naruto off guard in order to capture him.I believe in a one on one fight the last body would have been beaten.

Because the manga considers Kurama as part of naruto's power. Plus beating someone doesn't necessarily mean you are stronger than them, or that you can beat them in a fair scenario.

Also, the only reason KCM Naruto needed Bee and Itachi-chan's help to bust the technique is because he had chakra split among 13 kage-level clones and therefore didn't have the firepower to do it himself.

Kurama is only a part of Naruto's power since the moment in which he learns how to control it. But in the fight against Pain, it wasn't Naruto the one fighting, but Kurama.
