Can't naruto use sage mode where his clones (transformed into some inanimate object like jacket collar or something) would sit on his shoulders absorbing senjutsu chakra instead of fukasaku and shima? He could use sage mode most of the time.

The clones will need to fused to his body, and clones can not fuse. That's why he has to fuse with fukasaku to have unlimited sage mode.

i prefere sage mode i dont think we have seen it enough and he got his next power up way to fast also naruto has unlimited sage mode anyways since he can just make clones where they gather it and the clones themselves can actually cancel the jutsu to let naruto focus on the battle

He can't even throw more than two rasen shurikens and he can at best have two clones collecting senjutsu chakra.

This is why naruto would never need to do something like J-Man did. His shadow clones just need to be getting Sage Chakra, they dont need to be anywhere near him. Being attached to him would limit his movements somewhat. It is much better to have them gather nature chakra at a remote location undisturbed and only come out when naruto needs another sage mode boost. FYI

I am thinking of a system where clones would constantly absorb senjutsu chakra and transfer it into naruto as and when required, as if he is able to harness senjutsu chakra while he is on the move and never lose sage mode.

Here is how actually he does not need original in battle to minimize risk.
- Create 5 clones, send 3 clones (1,2, and 3) to the combat, the rest (4, 5, and original) gather sage chakra somewhere in safe place.
- After One clone (4) sage chakra ready send to the combat, create another clone (6) to replace, gather sage chakra.
- Release clone (1), replace with clone (4), continue until end.
