Hey guys
I'll proof in this thread why Minato > Nagato, this is coming from a Minato fan but I'll try to be as objective as possible.
Just to make things clear:
- this is Nagato and not the Six Paths.
- they both have no intel on each other
Both are different fighters, Nagato makes use of destructive attacks while Minato uses his mind and speed, in my eyes this is the best counter for Nagato's attacks.
The common argument people use is Chibaku Tensei, to start with is takes immense chakra so please don't think he can spam this attack, second of all is that Minato has multiple ways to counter this, as seen agianst Kurama's TBB (approximately same destructive power as the CT) he used the Space Time Barrier and got rid of the TBB.
The second way to dodge it, is simply FTG, don't tell me Nagato performs the CT in an instance, time enough.
Besides those ways he probably has many other methods, although I think Minato will try to keep as close as possible with him, since Minato got a big advantage in speed and taijutsu I can see Minato finishing him off.
In terms of intelligence it has been stated in the Manga that he's the smartest among the Shinobi, while Nagato was kind of fooled by Naruto, he figured out the trick of Tobi pretty fast and was the first to actually land a hit on him. So it's accurate to say he'll find a way to defeat Nagato.
Nagato's summonings can be handled by the Toads, he's not the only one that can summon. The Naraka Path is useless, he won't get hold of Minato due his advantage of Taijutsu, speed and intelligence. The only Paths that can be useful are the Preta Path (although I think Nagato can no way react that fast and stop Minato's Rasengan), the Deva Path (op attacks, don't think he'll be able to use it).
My point is that Minato can counter like all Nagato's attacks, not mentioning he can't spam them like the crowd thinks. Minato will fight him in close distance and try to finish him off as fast as possible. Nagato is pretty strong, I agree, but I see Minato winning 7/8 times out of 10 agianst him.
Kind regards
