Actually, it would even have been legit. Rasta dreads originate from cultural diffusion from Hindu/Buddhist practices when those cultures intermingled in the West Indies. Dreads were originally used by monks as a form of piety as opposed to just shaven heads (and still are today). Would have worked well with Hashirama's Buddha-imagery stuff.
