(Raiton: Raikou Oonami) - Lightning Release: Lightning Surge
I gather up my chakra into both of my hands, quickly converting it into vibrating chakra which in turn transforms into "Raiton". With the Raiton built up in my hands, I'd slam them onto the ground while manipulating the built up chakra to surge across the floor. The surging raiton would have the capabilities of shocking whatever it touches, starting from the feet.

(Ration: Ikazuchi Kashou) - Lightning Release: Thunder Burn
A simple technique where you independently move your palm and unleash a wave of lightning bolts at your target. Can be used to affect several targets within range.
( Raiton: Raigeki) - Lightning Release: Electric Attack
Perform three handseals and manifest your gathered chakra in the form of an electric current from your hand. This can reach up to long range so it's pretty neat, as it can also hit multiple targets. Additionally, since you control it, you can avoid obstacles on the way.
(Raiton: Jibashi) - Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder
This technique allows you to create a wave of electricity from your hands. Its usage can vary from manifesting in a small surge to shock an opponent, or in a lightning stream that's capable of tearing through solid rock. Its range is dependent if you wish to use it with a water technique, as it is normally used.

One of my favoruite C rank lightning techniques. With this, you surround yourself with eletricity, and the possibilites are endless. The great force of the eletric field protects you whilst simultaneously dealing damage to anyone who comes in contact with it. It disperses after one usage.

Simple technique that utilizes small bolts of lightning to attack head on. It has a decent range being mid ranged and can shoot multiple projectiles so makes good for attacking more than one target.
( Raiton: Raigeki) - Lightning Release: Electric Attack
Actually a cool technique after reading it. It requires a short set of threa hand seals, allowing one to generate streaming lightning from their hands. This lightning stream has a few perks to it, one being its extensive range, and the second being the ability to move around unwanted obstacles and get to its target.
(Raiton: Jibashi) - Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder
Pretty much like the above technique in nature, needing a few quick hand seals to create a streaming current of lightning. This one is different in the way that you can make the power vary from simply shocking people to actually ripping things apart altogether. It has a decent range to go with it too if using it with a water source.

Seems like a way way way weaker version of the Raikage lightning armor, minus speed and strength boosts. We surround ourselves with lightning that protects the body from direct contact by electrocuting whatever comes into contact with it but will immediately disperse once the damage has been done.

However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

This is a location based technique that is only usable near cliffs, specifically cliffs that have an opponent nearby the bottom. I'd use an electrical wave to have rocks loosen and dislodge themselves which would then fall down on the targets crushing them.

A technique that needs no hand seals to activate, merely a hand motion. The motion specifically is the motion of the hand/arm pointing straight forward like a sword, releasing a horn-shaped projectile of lightning that spreads outwards in such a way that it can hit multiple targets in an extensive range.

I'd take a single sword and channel my raiton chakra throughout it, not only increasing it's cutting capabilities but also giving it the ability to levitate at my will. All three swords would then spin rapidly like propellers and I'd be able to attack with them in a variety of ways.

This is an ok defensive method in some cases but has its fair share of weaknesses. It can only extend to close range and isn't a good defensive technique against energy techniques due to the way they interact (wind is strong against it and fire would phase through it).

Another short ranged technique that creates a physical lightning dome (half dome) that can be pushed forward to attack or defend. Besides the physical aspects of the attack, it can also paralyze and shock targets.

A pretty cool close combat technique. I simply create a sphere of electricity around a fist of my choosing, before punching a target which will cause a reaction. Once i actually hit a target an explosion of electrical energy would cause damage to said target.

We'd raise either our hand or a weapon, sending an electrical discharge into the sky that lets us bring down localized lightning strikes. The cool thing is that we don't shoot lightning straight from our body, but can come down directly over an opponent within proper range.

(Raiton: Shichu Shibari) – Lightning Release: Four-Pillar Bind
A pretty good technique tbh. It surrounds the opponent with 4 large pillars that are made of some sort of earthen material. Once the pillars are fully erected (which happens fast) they emit unfocused electricity which shocks any targets that are within their vicinity.
(Raiton: Kangekiha) – Lightning Release: Wave of Inspiration
This technique is mostly used as a boost so to say. With a few hand seals one can release unfocused lightning chakra to shock targets, though it can be used to supplement other techniques also, namely water. Using a partner or clone, the user can flow the lightning through a streaming water technique to boost it by 20 damage, though it also be used simultaneously by just a single person if they can use water/Lightning at once. This goes for storm bios, Y/Y users and anyone else that has a KG or something that combines lightning and water.

Clapping my hands together I'd be able to generate electricity around me and touch the ground to send an electrical current towards a target. I can also control it to split apart and attack seperate targets if need be.

I think this may be the most straight forward technique yet. Hehe. I just raise a hand into the air while i charge lightning, then aim somewhere to shoot a simple bolt of lightning. Nothing more i can really add.

Basic shape manipulation technique where I'd shape my raiton chakra into a rope of lightning in between my palms. Once the rope of lightning is created I'm able to use it just like a normal rope/whip but with electricity affects.

Using electricity in my dominant hand, i form a hound with shape manipulation that i launch towards a target. The hound is connected to my hand through a bolt of lightning which in turn would enable me to control the trajectory of the hound as it attacks.

A straight forward but wicked technique. Using raiton in my mouth i emit a spear of electricity that travels at fast speeds to hit a target and can even split/branch off into numerous lightning strikes to hit multiple targets.
Question: is it this one or the S-rank one that is streamed? It could be a misconception since both say emit a spear but in actuality if it's what the lightning mask of Kakuzu did, then it is streamed.

A clone made of electricity that can use all Lightning and Taijutsu attacks that i know, but the lightning is limited to B-Rank and below techniques. The cool thing is when this is damaged, instead of dispersing like normal clones it goes into its original state of electricity thus shocking and damaging anything around it at the time.
The S rank is definitely streamed, and this one may be streamed too, I suppose.

This technique grants a sword extreme cutting abilities past it's limits by channeling electricity through it and having it super vibrate. It specifically gives the sword +15 to cutting potential plus the ability to shock things.

With the use of the ram hand seal i put my hands up and pour lightning chakra into the sky to trigger the technique. It causes an electrical discharge to come down upon the enemy or target and strike them with simple electrical properties.

I'd use a giant shuriken or windmill shuriken that is connected to an electrical cable to throw it at a target. Once it strikes, it pins them down which enables me to charge electricity through the cable and numb the target and restrict their movements altogether.

A lightning technique that can only be used in a close proximity of the user. Channeling lightning chakra I'd release a purple wave of electricity that will knock back and shock targets. Pretty cool but wish it had a greater range tbh.

Think my favorite lightning style technique thus far. Using electricity I'd create a barrier around me that encompasses a short range radius and is maintained over the span of 3 turns. The barrier can block incoming techniques and even be expanded to attack things within range so it is very versatile. Other than that, what makes it good is the ability to still use other lightning techniques and Taijutsu while it is active.

I'd forge an orb of electricity in my hand using shape manipulation before releasing it into the air and letting it stay there over the span of a few seconds. The orb lets off bolts of lightning within its radius so that it can shock up anything within range.

Similar to a technique you taught me earlier though this one requires a specific type of technique. It focuses on using a specific weapon to hit and paralyze the target through the manipulation of lightning chakra. One question for this is, like the Karin technique, does this require the usage of Chidori, thus taking up 2 move slots to use.

A pretty cool technique in my opinion. I saw a water custom technique similar to this that was cool as hell. Anyway, by slamming my hands on the ground i can make an electrical web up to mid range in all directions that will electrocute targets that come into contact with it. Would be pretty dangerous coupled with a custom that can hide the lightning maybe?

Bringing her hands together to form a single hand seal, Koto would quickly expel 4 dragon head-shaped fireballs, with each of their trajectories carefully manipulated. One would converge upon you from above, traversing a slight arc like path, two would flank you, moving in side arcs ending at your sides, whilst the last menace would approach you head-on. Given the slight difference in the order and timing of their release, they would all find their targets at roughly the same time.

Upon the completion of 4 swift hand seals, four pillars of earth would rise around you in a square formation with you at its epicenter. Its emergence would prompt the emission of electrical currents. Not only would its discharge serve to further damage and paralyse you, but it would also serve as a deterrent towards the usage of water techniques that would cause self-harm by the conduction of electricity.
