First of all, my opinion was asked.

So, you can't exactly block an explosive wind bullet from hitting you with a lightning clone. So, you're dead, and smashed into the ground at this point. If Omnom allows you to edit, you can go and defend from the jutsu, however if he doesn't, it's your loss.

What he meant to say is that when you use a clone to block a technique, any kind of clones excluding illusionary clones [normal intangible clones] it lets you counter an attack of C-rank and below, according to Rei's rules, i wouldn't say you are dead, from a C-ranked wind you are just blown forcibly to the ground as the bullet has to real slicing force it just hits you with blunt force pushing you to the ground and making it hard for you to move, also when the clone disperses considering it's a lightning shadow clone it turns into pure lightning since your so close to it it paralyzes you momentarily 3 - 4 seconds, but dead? that's pretty cheesy to me lol.

Clones of any kind may only be used three times in battle and there will be a maximum of 4 clones created at a time. This is limited only to “clone switching” or the hitting of a clone and not the presumed user. When you use shadow clone jutsu or an elemental clone it lets you block an opponents C-RANK
