So during the final battle Sasuke says with his new rinnegan, he has reincarnation and immortality and numerous other options available to him.

How exactly would he become immortal? I wanted to further understand what he means here. Well after some research I think I’ve figured it out. Be Ready To Read

See right after Sasuke says this, he calls over his 9 chibaku tensei, each with a captured biju. He then merges their separate chakras into one chakra pool.

Kurama not only confirms that by doing this Sasuke essentially recreates the juubi but also that merging them is just as difficult as when hagoromo split the juubi’ to create them.

Sasuke then sends this aggregated chakra into his susanoo, but what if he didn’t? What if instead Sasuke decides to seal the chakra inside himself, what happens then? To answer this we look to others who’ve gained the same power. Madara, Naruto, obito, hagoromo & kaguya all had the power of the juubi and each of them gained six paths senjutsu.

And it was after Madara gained six paths senjutsu that he became immortal,(also kaguya herself is immortal which is why she has to be sealed away).

But Sasuke’s never had six paths senjutsu. Would his body even be able to tolerate it?

Yes it would and here’s why. Both Madara and Naruto awakened and could tolerate six paths senjutsu, but it was obito who initially struggled.

This is because unlike Madara and Naruto, obito up until the point he became a jinchuriki has never experienced or used senjutsu. Madara has experience senjutsu when he absorbed and used hashirama sage mode.

Naruto has experience with senjutsu because he’s a sage himself(Not to mention that hagoromo has sage training in filler, and kaguya can literally become one with nature).

Sasuke also has experience with senjutsu, not only has he spent years using it via his curse mark but during the war he uses senjutsu again with susanoo.

So he’d have no problem awakening and tolerating six paths senjutsu.

I think this is what Sasuke has in mind for his immortality; to achieve it by gaining six paths senjutsu. Now six paths senjutsu would grant him more than just that, he’d also gain many new abilities like flight, TSO, TSO manipulation(the rods/the staff/sword of nunobuko/etc.), even a RinneSharingan(unless the tree itself is required for it) and more.

So what about reincarnation? Well the rinnegan has a jutsu that allows for reincarnation; Rinne rebirth.

Now according to a databook translation, this jutsu to brings others back to life at the cost of the users own life, like a sacrifice or exchange:
‘Gedou Rinnei Tensei no Jutsu

Ones life is not spared for a worthy cause (sacrifce ones life for a worthy cause), life burns after it's returned from the underworld (? I think, man this was a tough one).

Rikudou's technique, the antithesis to the path of hell, is this Jutsu (basically it's the opposite of sending one to hell, it's liberating them from hell). The ruler of hades is summoned, the life of a deceased is granted life. It's different than Edo Tensei, because one is brought perfectly back to life with the body/flesh being rejuvenated, a supreme jutsu. Nagato had the jutsu in his possession and he used it to rejuvenate everyone in the leaf village. A wondrous miracle Jutsu, of course naturally there exists an equivalent exchange. Ones life. To stake ones life, one would decisively say it's self sacrifice.

Gedou's power to return to the soul to the flesh a second time.’

But I don’t think that’s fully accurate. Conan explains that being low on chakra is what cost nagato his life when he used the jutsu and that if he had more chakra he’d survive the toll.

And later obito used the same technique and didn’t die, sure he had zetsu attached to him, but if the jutsu really does guarantee death to its caster, here it failed. And what else would Black zetsu be doing to keep obito alive besides giving him chakra.

This is why I don’t consider that translation to be fully accurate(and also why I want to learn Japanese so I could read it myself and not always rely on translations). The jutsu does seem to require a large amount of chakra to perform, but death is only for those who can’t afford the toll on their chakra reserves. Oddly enough obito performs this jutsu right after he had the juubi extracted from him, so he would’ve been able to put my thoughts to the test.

Still if the jutsu works how I think it does, Sasuke’ reincarnation option makes more sense. Since Sasuke has the juubi, which is a massive amount chakra, he’d easily survive the toll(compared to nagato who was already so low on chakra that he spent what was left of his reserves casting the jutsu, costing his life). Plus I don’t think at that moment Sasuke felt like trading his life for someone else’s, and I don’t know of any other way for him to achieve reincarnation then either.

So there you have it, two of Sasuke options explained(maybe). More accurate explanations likely exist but this is my take and my way to understand how he would’ve done it.
