When was Naruto put into a situation that he immediately needed the power? Kyuubi Chakra Mode was enough for Toneri, and I never saw him struggle until he needed Hamura's chakra to defeat the Tenseigen (which is a requirement to destroy it, only Hamura's chakra only).

Funny enough the people that state why didn't Naruto use "RSM" ignore that Naruto only used KCM. Why didn't he use Bijuu Mode? Before you state that Naruto released Kyuubi, that wasn't BM. Probably a new version of his abilities considering he has Full Kurama, but Bijuu Mode has a chakra cloak which is its trademark. That and the Last Naruto booklet only state he went up to KCM.

So if Naruto only used KCM, and did not even go to BM which is >>> KCM, why would he need to go to a higher form? Mind you all of these are instant too.

Naruto was nearly killed twice and need to be saved... He also went KSM, why turn into a giant if he isn't fighting one.

Can't really highlight anything, since you also have to read NIKE AIR's posts to undestand what KidGamer is countering. I'll try to find the most important parts, but I'm not promising anything.

Lord of Akatsuki provides a more technical argument of why Naruto never tanked a moon-busting attack and why cutting a Moon is much easier than busting it, involving pixel measuring and real science.

Either way - Naruto's durability is not moon-level, as people would like to believe.

The only time where Naruto was severely injured against Toneri was when Naruto created a Rasengan to combat Toneri's azure ball of energy, and when Naruto threw the Rasengan at it, the ball ate the Rasengan and fell onto Naruto's body and sent the power back at him full force.

The funniest part about that was when Naruto was out of his chakra, the writers seemed to have forgotten that Naruto had a chakra beast inside of him willing to restore his chakra almost instantly, but what-ever. It just goes with what Kishimoto said about the movie in an interview:
"We tried to stay as canon as possible"

Second, in your initial post, you compared Naruto defeating Kaguya with the help of Sasuke, DMS Obito, DMS Kakashi and Sakura to Naruto defeating Toneri all alone with a single punch. How does that make sense again?

Besides the moon tanking theory, there is a significance in both feat.

One enemy can split the moon and the other can create a world.

Being able to spar with Kaguya is a hefty feat while beating a powerful Ootsuki incarnate is another.

I'm sure you don't know what my initial remark implied, you just assumed.

Naruto did use Bsm he just used KCM and Sage Mode. When he was not using BSM has he lost his BM now. Toneri was weak. He was weaker than Madara jin. and Kaguya so why he would go full power to weakling ? Rikudo stated that Naruto will be the meeting place for the biju.
