Six Path of Pain or Nagato ?????

first of all this is not a versus thread,....its just my doubt

in NB i have seen many times that guys always put nagato over the "six path of pain"
and every one seems to agree that nagato is more power than "six path of pain"
y is it so???

both have the same jutsu and capabilities,...in case of pain its just split into six paths thats all
my question is wouldn't the six path of pain be more preferable and advantages in battle
1.6 pair of eyes increase field of vision
2.the opponent has to keep track of 6 enemies instead of 1
3.very effective to take down a group of people even an entire village as shown in manga

so who is more preferable in battle

Nagato himself going to battle (or) nagato sitting in a safe place and controlling the 6 paths of pain

Nagato was weakened and stabbed by those needles and therefor could'nt battle himself.. however he is much stronger than the pain paths

Nagato is more powerful. The shared vision and all is great but since they only know one technique each, they are at a certain disadvantage. For example, if someone attacks the Preta Path with a physical attack, he's helpless, but if someone tries to do the same with Nagato, he has the Deva paths Shinra Tensei for example. So, if you're fighting the spop, you can use the disadvantage of each of them to bring them down one by one, while Nagato is all these powers combined, and doesn't have to deal with that problem

also consider this even if its healthy Nagato who is able to walk around then also isn't it preferable stay away from battle field and send the six paths

I agree with you. I never understand why people think Nagato is better than 6Paths of Pain. I believe it's the contrary

Nagato's can use all the 6pop's power in a higher scale.. if deva fought someone alone, he would'nt be able to use pretha path and st/ct at the same time.. Nagato got the shared version of them all.

if asura fought someone alone he would'nt be able to use the other paths like Nagato can..

Of course he is stronger than the 6 paths of pain, they are like split powers of what he can do, considering he is controling them. If you combine the 6 paths of pain, then you should get nagato, simple.

i didnt think of this disadvantage
then also one can make use of this disadvantage only if the paths are spread widely and are alone
if the opponent is only 1 or 2 persons and the spop stay together in atleast pairs they can overcome this disadvantage right????

the paths only has one power each, and can be beaten by a technique they cannot counter proberly... nagato has all the powers in one body, so no matter what you do he will have something close to the perfect defence... the only true benefit of the paths is their number and shared vision

the six paths of pain is a lot more effective as like you said its six bodies also nagato isnt in the risk of being killed and if a pain body gets destroyed its not a big deal also its a lot more intimidating as with nagato you only have to fight one guy but pain 6 so yeah pain better than solo nagato also its the main reason he used pain

True true, the fact that the Six paths never lost a battle until they fought Naruto is a testament of how powerful they really are. However, Nagato is just simply more powerful, although the 6pop are suuuper badass xD

Didn't Nagato kill 300-400 ninja when he fought the salamander with a soul stealing dragon? By himself he can be quite unbeatable.Naruto beat all six by himself. I think Nagato>Naruto 1on1 otherwise.

The speed and power of the techniques are greater when used in one body; I can't see how that's not advantage. Generally, the 6 paths of Pain are no longer a threat when each realm has been isolated; Jiraiya showed this very clearly when he took out the Animal Path despite missing an arm. So if an opponent benefits from an advantageous battlefield where they can stall and seperate the paths (like Jiraiya did in Amegakure) then Pain is considerable weaker. After all, Naraka Path and Human Path are almost fodder on their own, even the likes of Konohamaru can stand against them. Admittedly, they remain a force to be reckoned with in an open plain if they choose to fight at once. When it's Nagato, however, there is so much he can do to you at one moment (since he, canonically, can use multiple paths at once) - and it's unlikely you'll be able to counter all of these techniques simultaneously.

fair enough nagato is stronger but not more effective pain adds mystery to a fight has better field of vision also six has a better chance of over powering an opponent then 1
