I would agree with that if the edo hokages weren't there and obito wasn't the 10 tails jinchuriki, it looks like hashirama alone will be able to beat madara...

You remember how once the edo people's souls are put to peace, or at rest they are freed from this world and disappear. I think Madara will use some trump card no jutsu, defeat Hashi to where he can't come back. Then Madara will just disappear because that's all he really cares about.
