The one that make sense the most is that SB is the ancestor of the hyuga and uzumaki. How else will the visual prowess of the byakugan exist still? And that their clan needs to protect the senju clan. The uzumakis have a special chakra thatxan match the senjus. Even kurama noted its power. He fears it as much as he fears the sharingan. The So6P and SB both sealed the juubi( due to translation, we cant know whether only the Sage had all the Juubi. Some says "in me" some "inside of us") but we can all agree that Sage had most of the Juubi inside of him.

Side Note: still convinved that Madara looks like the Sages brother

Because of the whole tailed beast thing. And if the theory of the hyuga and uzumaki is correct, theres still a possibility that theres a bit of a rivalry going on. Funny how most of em are listed in the endangered clans. Senju, uchiha, hyuga, and uzumaki. The ninja world is based on a big family feud. Btw since Hago made the ninjas way, perhaps his brother made a different one: samurais way. They were able to use their chakra so they must be connected somehow to the rabbit goddess.

Since the Hyuuga posses the Byakugan, they definitely are descendants of Kaguya.

If that's the case, then perhaps the Uchiha and Senju descended from Hagoromo while the Uzumaki and Hyuuga descended from his brother.
