Genjutsu is one of the 3 basic techniques utilized by a ninja.Genjutsu is basicly a illusion made by ninja to create pain and stun the opponent.The illusian can be created through eye contact like the Uchiha Genjutsu need.Or just by inserting your chakra into the opponent.Though the illusions don't harm the opponent physically it harms mentally.
