And the belief is that the opposite *** poses a distraction.

For some it is specially in teen years the time we becomes more curious about the opposite *** but it allows you to be comfortable with them and learn more about them and be experienced with them that probably help in the long run .

I did go to a school with both male and female students learn together and it didn't affect most of the guys as much as the popular belief says .

I honestly have to go with unisex schools.

Unisex schools IMO. Why? The workplace is seldom a "unisex" place, nor is university. Schools should be preparing students for the future, so why split up the genders? This is just my opinion though.

only went to unisex school but i know single *** boarding school pretty well: both types are awful for me Lol

meanwhile i had the chance to try home schooling because i was sick for months as a teen and it was the best, learned faster, better and i was not constantly annoyed by useless group working stuff.

i don't think gender is the biggest issue, personality traits are very important and nobody give a single crap about it, like forcing an introvert to work for hours with a group (happened to me when i was a kid, i hate school for that reason but that's not the only one) or isolating an extravert to work alone for too long (happened to my little sister).

same goes for the amount of time we spend in school, the schedule, holidays like when/how often etc

school should be something more suited for all of us and not just using genders, females or males, i cannot stand both for more than a couple of hours because i freaking love being alone more than anything else xd

Single *** School
If a school has both Boys and Girls the school will put some rules to protect them from each other.Which gives Single *** School a little more freedom.

Researchers studied this opposition and found that women succeed more in female-only schools while men perform better in a co-ed environment.

It is more related to social stereotypes between genders. Most of the time people say men are smarter than women or better are science, maths etc. but other way around won't happen. So in unisex environment male students do not feel distressed, threatened or belittled but it happens with female students. Adding up researches show that women score less when it is told they would be compared to men in their results and Western men score less when it is told they would be compared to far Eastern men in their tests. Also women scored less when they were oggled by men in a test.

OT: unisex. Same *** schoole enforce the idea of alienating other *** and ignoring & harmful for people who do not identify as a single gender (non-binaries, genderfluids, hermaphrodits, bigenders) and transgenders.
