This is perhaps the realest song I've heard in a long song. Hands down one of the best rap songs released this year. It might be long but just listen to it fully and pay attention to the actual lyrics, it has deep meaning to it.

Why don't he/you just get a water or any drink? •_•

OT: nice song
It's a reference to how the youth of America are methaporically dying of thirst, meaning they need water, holy water. They need to have a higher purpose in life than just shooting and banging gangs and all of the other counterproductive things they do in life. He ends by telling saying something his mother told him: "See a pastor, give me a promise/What if today was the rapture, and you completely tarnished/The truth will set you free, so to me be completely honest/You dying of thirst, you dying of thirst/ So hop in that water, and pray that it works"

I stopped reading when i saw Eminem lol. People dickride him too much. His prime was early 2000s, now he's a shadow of his former self. He's still lyrically superior to most rappers out now but he just doesn't have the flair and enthusiasm he once had so it makes it hard to get into his music, at least for me.

Though Linkin Park and Fort Minor>>>>>. Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda are two of my favorite musicians, from any genre.

I respect everything he's done for hip-hop and his skill, he's just not as lyrically inclined as he once was. No one can deny that he isn't as "hard" or raps as well as he did in the past. He's still good though, I just didn't like relapse or recovery to much but that might be due to my taste in music changing in the years he was absent from rapping.
