what are some things that you wished had happened?

i wish there was an enemy ninja who used the 8 inner gates. maybe like an edo or something. a fight with lee and this character would be awesome

i also wish there were more time when naruto got taken over by the fox but only when his eyes get red. when he grew tails, things became ridiculous

Wish they didn't kill all the incredibly powerful characters before the series really kicked off. Such as EMS Madara, 1st + 2nd + 4th Hokage, Hanzo, Yahiko.

I wish that Jiraiya could have witnessed Naruto's growth. Like against Pain, mastering Sage Mode, taming Kurama, so on.

...which is why ETing him was a genius idea. Oh well, Kishi threw that perfect chance for storytelling and character development out the window.

And yeah, I agree with a lot of the above posts too. Some Hyoton users would have been cool, 8 gates or whatever, and fleshing out the damn ET instead of just shafting them all. But oh well

I'm not a Hiruzen fanboy but how can you call the entire clan failures if one of them was a hokage?

Kishimoto can still write about things he left alone that we're dying to see. Like the whole Hashirama and Madara fight, Sakumo's last mission, Tobirama's battle against the Hidden Cloud ninja, etc.. So it'll still take a while.
